Inactivity in CS:S and EvE

Havent seen anyone on CS in a long time, and thats quite sad because it's a fun game when you play with friends. :(

EvE afaik only me, 50 and Kamph are the only active RL players, theres still a RL corp with 13 members, but only 1 member is active, and I wonder if any of those are going to return to EvE?

All my times been sucked up and I just cant get time to play anything at the moment peggy, still, if what we're doing stops the cheating bastards then its worth it.

wait...you say 1.6 is easy when you litereally have no recoil in source and ive seen GA run around with a para taking out everyone...first of all your one of the line of "cs'ers" who probably got hl2 for christmas and starting playing source and realized that 1.6 was free and thought you might as well try that as well...what happen was seeing as your 31337 ub3|2 sk1llz in source are pretty useless in 1.6 since well 1.6 is the superior game which requires more skill...you mention that the guns feel completely different...pretty logical argument for someone who plays a crap game since this is what normal cs players argue about as well that the guns in source feel completely different...and i agree with flufball after cs became mainstream it got infested with noobs at hackers and today we are suffering the consequences of it by being forced to move to source...as a result of the new line rookie we saw the introduction of the awp delay and for all you people that consider the awp a weapon that requires no skill...it actually does i'd like to see one of you people complaining about the awp to get one kill against someone who is skilled...if it requires no skill then you sure as hell have a large chance of killing him right? wrong. awp is one of the hardest guns to actually get good at in the game and now with the awp delay its even harder

1.6 is a bad enough game as it...some people consider it the best version of cs but nothing comes close to the betas or 1.5

im not going to start to tell you what is wrong about source...there are many bugs in source the main being the game itself.

What im saying is (which im guessing you failed to comprehend from my post) that it will be only a matter of time before some retard manages to crack it and make cheats for it. Thats what happen with vac in 1.6 and thats what will happen with vac2. unless they manage to keep it up to date there will be hacks avaliable for both source and 1.6 within a few months. Its not easy keeping a system update especially when there are so many custom made hacks out there. Vac hasnt been updated for months now and if the same thing happens with vac2 then its going to be no different than what it is today. Dont rely on anti cheat too much.

VAC2 is a poor anti-cheat anyway, it works on a footprint system rather than stopping cheats before they are loaded and working.

What you should be looking at are decent solutions when they come out for CS:S such as Cheating-Death (best option avalible for CS) and DMW when we get it released.

i dont bother with the steam forums, and there isnt that many hackers in css. and source doesent suck. its fun. its cool when u kill soemone and they roll down the stairs in italy. i prefer the layout of the source conversions of the maps to the 1.6 ones.

you only prefer the new layout of maps because its easier to kill people something you'll never manage in 1.6...with all the random items laying around you can either camp behind a barrel or something or wait till someone gets stuck trying to jump over it or something and kill em using your para

also being able to see people roll down the stair is in no way a benefit of the game.... can you see people fly backwards when you hs them? nope didnt think so...you can have your guy rollin down the stair ill pick the flyin guy anyday

so from the 2 posts you've pointed out that cs:s is better in terms of:

1-) People flying down the stairs (yes great enchancement isnt it) something this game definatly needed..

2-) maps are better...im not going to even start on that one we all know or at least me and flufball know that the maps have so much useless stuff on em and are just fps eaters....

Now i may be wrong but last time i checked cs was famous for its gameplay and never for its graphics....and now with the introduction of source its errr famous for emm...oh yes incredible amounts of noobs that play it, yes thats what it is

I ask you to tell me how source is better than the good ol 1.x cs but unfortunatly you havent been playing long enough to come up with logical arguments therefore you are in no place to criticize the game (1.x cs).

i dont care about the graphics, its just i prefer to see a dead carcass rolling down the stairs than a still ridgid thing flying through the air.

the maps on cs 1.6 are crapper than the source ones, i jsut prefer the source maps to the 1.6 ones. the AWP on cs 1.6 is stupid you can jump then as soon as you land and crouch its accurate again (thats what it seems like when i watch the people who use them)

as for the FPS eatery in the stress test i get 40fps with medium detail.

my system isnt a gerat one, its probally average. so there is well enough FPS to play the game, you dont need 100+ fps.

the gameplay on source is good, i prefer source to 1.6

yes indeed what you said about the awp is true thats why it requires more skill to master it...people who cant use the awp (im guessing your one of these people) dont actually know how to use the awp...it may seem unrealistic which in all fairness is true but if you want realism then why arent you arguing that the glock should kill with one shot to the head because isnt that what would happen in the real world?

see its people like you that cant use the gun and start complaining that the game is unrealistic that its unfair etc etc. and now what do we have? the shield (albeit not in source although ive seen polls in favour of it) and the awp delay.

if you actually learned the game you would realize that it takes lots of skill to use the awp...and from your post i think your trying to imply that it requires no skill...again ive mentioned before that it does and im not going to go into it again.

you contradict yourself by saying you dont care about graphics yet you prefer a guy rolling down the stairs...

40 fps is in theory enough for cs...but if youve noticed which i doubt you have due to the lack of expierence with the game you'll have noticed that your x-hair gets smaller quicker if you have a higher fps thats been proven....just watch cs movies which are recorded in 30fps and look how long it takes for the xhair to get smaller....although this isnt the case with source since you xhair can be the size of your screen and you'll still get that hs if you spray with para...also im gettin 100fps with a 9200 in 1.6 and im in no position to upgrade my pc just to be able to get "40fps"

unfortunatly the gameplay in source is not comparable to the one in source where source is more of an arcade game where you just run and shoot and 1.6 is one that requires slightly more skill where you cant just spray and you need burst/tap

finally i dont think im "leet" there are days when i get owned and there are the days when i get a 10:1 kill/death ratio yes im better than your typical cs player but i am in no way 1337 leet 31337 however you wanna put it. i have played source longer than you think since i tend to play it whenever im at GA's house

yes it is used quite a lot but so is the ak how come your not complaining about that...also its a part of the game just like the other guns people can use it as much as they feel fit...its not that hard to take out an awper just require some skill...

spraying works beautifully well in source im saying this based on the fact prior to this post i was playing source (im at GA's house atm) and all my kills were either sprays or just random hs i got when my xhair was no where near the guy

i played a incredibly fun game at 30fps after each kill i had to time to make myself a sandwhich whilst waiting for the xhair to get back to its original size i can safely say that im full.

seeing corpses roll down a hill is funny but i dont understand how that is benefical for the game or if it is worth all the fps eats up in the process.
