My Profession

Currently my lvl 51 Hunter has 300 in Skinning and 249 in Leatherworking. I'm not sure where to go next, none of the specialisations in Leatherworking seem to produce much that would appeal to a Hunter (other than Shifting Cloak (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=18511) in Elemental).

The other option I can see is to switch to Engineering so I can make my own ammo (thorium shells/arrows look like they will be very expensive for non-engineers), and with luck be able to prevent group wipes by using Feign Death and Goblin Jumper Cables (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=7148).

Thoughts/suggestions?

a profession is not good if you can't use it yourself, so yeah go engineering i think

I'd say go for it. It's going to take some effort to level but that can be sorted. And I think that FD and Jumper Cables sound nice. (Even though they can backfire. he he)

I agree with the others. Go engineering, you´ll have fun and you´ll get stuff you need.
