I've had some doubts about how to spec with the new patch being released today and it'd be nice to see some fellow locks specs for comparison.
Anyway, this is what I have in mind atm unless I spec lolguard.

lol!
Back in the day, Blizzard made soul shards as a tradeoff for our power. In other words, Warlocks receive power proportionally with the sheer annoyance they endure, which is obvious from the endless shard grinding, summoning, continued existance of Rogues and so on.
Now, visit the 'lock forums and read what ppl post there.
you will realize that we're in fact entitled to a major buff

Im all for buffing underpowered warlocks tbh.

I think I'm going for a SM/Ruin spec again. Might try darkpact/something else as well

Got a full destruction spec and already made some nice crits with the Shadowfury... It really rocks hard...
Also tried SM/Ruin, but i've played it most because of nightfall.
In destruction there's Backlash, and it procs like 50% of every hit.
THey say it's 30% but in combat it seems like a hell lot more :)
So if you're in for instant shadowbolts, try backlash for sure ^_^

After playing with full Affliction for a while, I've decided that Unstable Affliction probably isn't so hot after all. I mean it's all ok, probably good for grinding, but in pvp you don't really get a good chance to use it, the time spent casting UA could be better spent on a 2k shadow bolt crit and full affliction destroys your crit chance anyway.
Was thinking of going SM/Ruin again but I think I might try full destro as it looks lots of fun!
Going with this build i think

My spec (http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/warlock/talents.html?5500222012230105000000000000000000000 000000505000512200010000000), good ol' SM/Ruin
The only thing I miss is fel concentration for some fights

After testing a few of the new things in TBC i desided to use this spec.

Btw how many points have u put in Healthstone?? No need for all of us to spent 2 points. To benefit a Raid the most would be to have some with 0 points, some with 1 point and some with 2 point's. This way all can get 3 stones. And with the Soulwell, shards will not be a big problem. ;)

Strange spec
You put talents in improved CoA but not in amplify curse.
You put points in cataclysme to reduce mana cost of destro spells, but otoh, your mana regen should be easy with imp. life-tap, imp. drain life, siphon and SM.

Forgot to put a talent in Amplify Curse. :p Done...

I see your point: But
I like to have 2 points in destructive reach for boss fights when we are only fighting 1 mob. Just to stay out of AoE's and stuff. So is +4% ekstra crit to destro that much when i'm mostly afliction, or Aftermath(daze target)??
Plz fill in your thoughts (havent spent my money yet) :p

I would still put point in Devastation for the occasional SB or shadowburn.

My spec. All the farming talents from affliction and the 5/10/25 man talents from destruction. I do lack the extra HP and stuff from demonology, but I do huge amount of damage, so that makes up for it, I guess.

Was thinking...
"Suppression" is that the more or less the same thing as +Hit on items. Or...??

Yup, it's the same thing, but it works for affliction spells only :)
