I'm curently thinking about rerolling a BE paladin, but with my lack of knowledge about the class and the official forums being spammed with threads about how gay tier 5 looks, I'm turning to these forums for some guidance.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent-bc=s (Talent Calculator)

For leveling, what kind of specc would be useful?
Put all my points in Retribution for the 41 point talent? (Stormstrike thingie)

Also, how do grind? which seals to use?
Until I get Seal of Command, would it be worth unleashing Seal of the Crusader for the debuff and then auto-attacking the mob with Seal of Rightousness ?

Or is it better just unleashing Seal of Rightousness, repop it and keep auto-attacking with Seal of Rightousness ?

Mana use being the key-word here...

Furthermore, which stats to go for?
AP - Str - Agi - Stam
or (Since I'll be auto-attacking I guess the warriors stats would be best)
Something with with a bit of +spell dmg mixed into things?

Any experts care to elaborate ? :)

First 11 talent points into retribution so you get Seal of Command at level 20.
5 benediction
2 improved judgement
3 deflection
1 command

Next 9~10 talent points into holy for spiritual focus.
5 divine strength
4~5 spiritual focus

After that, pump retribution up all the way. You're not in a rush to get crusader strike, it's not a grinding skill anyway (not enough extra damage to warrant the manacost while trying to grind - too much downtime).

Until I get Seal of Command, would it be worth unleashing Seal of the Crusader for the debuff and then auto-attacking the mob with Seal of Rightousness ?
You won't get enough extra damage out of the procs before the mob is dead. Basically just autoswing with righteusness and judge it if mana allows.
After level 20, it's SoC and pray for proc, yay \o/

Untill level 60, there's very little paladin gear available. I would gather two sets:
- a warrior set (for damage/grinding). Str/agi/stam, equal focus on the three. (str > stam > agi if you have to chose)
- a healing set with as much intellect as possible. Any armor type, even cloth. For if you get dragged into mainhealing an instance.

Edit: once you've got it at 60, let's talk :D

Bump for the greater good (me) I decided to go get my paladin on silvermoon and lvl her a bit even tho she doesnt have any gear whatsoever since I didnt think of asking to get that back after I got hacked. What should I put talent points in from 60-70? Having this spec atm but not sure what to put my other points in http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=qxxZZxbhtrchVhot

no risk from my side. tried one, lvl 14 dps equal to an oister one, no ranged attack, died about 20 times already mainly cause single pull nearly impossible. stopping and focusing on my warrior yet. If another class had to level up, hunter would more be my choice

I find it hard to die as a paladin and have always done. The DPS kinda suck but I do like to grind with paladins for some reason just sit back relax and see your char swing away suits me fine. And it is along with warrior the funniest class to play
