Renegade Legion PvP Tournament

The tourney will take place soon (No definate date as im waiting to see the response).

Format

There will be several mini tourneys for varying level groups.

35-39
40-44
45-49
50-54
55-60

Dualers shall be picked at random.
Each duel shall take place and be a best out of three scenario.

When you have won a duel you will move onto the next phase of your lvl range tourney e.g.

PlayerOne 2 PlayerThree 0 PlayerFive 1 PlayerEight 2
PlayerTwo 1 PlayerFour 2 PlayerSix 2 PlayerSeven 1

PlayerSix 2

PlayerSix wins.

Each lvl tourney would go thru the same way.



Also another idea would be Cash prizes for the winners. To raise those we would charge admission to the tourney. This admission would take level into account.

e.g.

lvl 35-39 would pay 20s each but a Lvl 55-60 would pay 1g each.

So say 16 lvl 55-60 players entered the prize money would be 10g to the winner 6g to the runner-up.

Plus u also get bragging rights :D

one important rule you have not mentioned, whats the range of the duel when u start? mage's etc are gonna wanna start a long way apart, where as melee classes will wanna start close together, how do u decide that ?

The range issue will be a big problem i will admit.... But i dunno who will face who yet so im not gonna answer that till closer the day :)

I see no problem in this, melee classes can charge in anyway, or fade or what ever, and ranged classes got run away shit (don't whine pallies you can make yourself imortal and imune to roots.. -.- )

So you might just start at medium range ( 15 yrds ) however, I might not be right, so you might want to test a bit first ;)

(and yes I know priests don't have any run away spells, but honestly.. you planning to win a pvp match with a priest? :) )

YAY a tourney :) how about the classes ? there are some complains on some of the classes.. how will that go ? for exsample.. im a paladin and alot of warriors i fought always complains and they say its a no chance fight (for the warrior)

Warriors will lose against an equal level, equal experience opponent, so I better hope they mess up the categories and put me in the under-10s :p

A great way of showing the guilds champions in PvP. Gonna be really fun! Would look really nice if this took place in the Battle Arena of Stranglethorn Vale.

I'm guessing you've never faced a shadow/disc priest in a duel =)

With my spec I'll probably have trouble with paladins, and definitely get slaughtered by druids and hunters. But warriors, mages and warlocks should be dead meat. Rogues ... is a lottery. If I can get a psychic scream in between their first and second stun, I win. If not, they win.
