Imho, nothing much to write home about. Some nifty stuff, but nothing too exciting. Those shades better kick some serious butt.

Edit: That Prayer of Mending does sound quite cool tho. Shadow Word: Death however, seems sort of a waste...

Probably my PvP build will look like this (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-priest/talents.html?5002310130500000000000000000000000000 0000050232210351100051541).

i'm happy. i'll start from new spells:

mass dispel - about time. aoe dispel ftw

blinding heal - good for pvp, high mana cost though

prayer of mending - awesome for both pvp and pve. should interesting to use in pve as a dps healer.

shadow word: death - good finisher, will be quite fun as a self suicide

shades of darkness - depending on their damage, looks like a good way to lvl. plus they look teh shit :p
_____

as for builds.

for my uber 'haha you can't kill me' pvpriest build, i'd go with 42/19/0 (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-priest/talents.html?5002323133505100015412305013300000000 0000000000000000000000000)

for my lolsmite build, i'd go with 26/35/0 (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-priest/talents.html?5002310130505000100002350510022200530 0500000000000000000000000) though some small changes could be made

for my healbot, i'd go with 21/40/0 (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-priest/talents.html?5032001130500100000002330510313021505 1050000000000000000000000) build. Now I feel that having the specs of priests varied will help, so people with more points in Disc will be usefull to increase dps and people with full points in holy will aswell.

as for the new talents:

Absolution - decrease in manacost of dispell. chromaggus will be fun for once

Reflective Shield - sweet pvp talent like the paladin's crit return but better as it can be used ever 15s. possible to be used in pve, but mobs are probably immune (would be nice if Neffie could shadowflame himself)

Improved Divine Spirit - Turns a plain buff into something fun. Should add another 30 or so spell dmg/healing to everyone.

Misery - usefull for both pvp and pve as to increase mage/warlock spell dmg

pain suppression - uber pvp talent with short cooldown. good for when you get ambushed or ganked. would be nice if they added an auto marydom to it.

focused power - not really worth it as it is only against dazed targets. would be better if it made the target dazed.

blessed resillience - nice pvp talent. especially against rogues and hunters

surge of light - need i say more? lolsmite ftw

empowered healing - more healing power = happier raid

circle of renewal - was predicting a spell like this. very nice for dps healing pitty it is only in the party and not in the raid and a selected area (like mass dispel)

in shadow it is only the final tier which is worth talking about:

Shadow Mend - about time. heal while in shadow form. about as much as a flash heal. see more shadowpriests in the future.

Blessed Recovery is pretty crap tbh. Tried it, not that good (you won't get 2 HoTs if critted within 6 seconds).

Spell Warding... hmm, I'd rather take Divine Fury, as the effects of this talent are pretty minimal at best.

Reflective Shield: Not nearly as effective as you seem to think. It only reflects back 50% of the damage ABSORBED (thus, at best, 500ish damage).

Blessed Resilience: Good talent. Too bad its so high up in a useless tree for me.

Surge of Light: Holy Nuker? Naaah, not my cup of tea. But a quick smite after a critted heal could be a bit more fun than just standing around doing nuffin but healing.

Shadowtree... For PvE Imp shadow weaving is nice I guess. Focused Mind is a good talent, bot for a PvE and PvP shadowpriest. Shadow Power... too bad it affects so few spells (and generally, a shadowpriest wont really want a high amount of crit due to the fact that so far, we only got 1 spell that could crit). It's probably a bit of a waste. Not sure I want to pick it up, just put it in my build for coolness factor (I'll probably take 3 points off it and sink it in Imp MB for less cooldown and 1 point to... well, no idea really :)). But a shadowheal... thats pretty sweet, a little costly, but better than nothing.

the first talent build is completely for pvp healing - thats why i've stuck points in blessed recovery - anything that will keep me alive and keep my mana pool big enough what i'm going for. plus - if i get the gear that i have in my CT profile pvp wishlist, i'll have like 4.5k AC and over 5k hp unbuffed.

:D

holy nuking is fun. i hate shadow as you can't heal and people bitch at you. with holy you don't get stuck with the mindblast/mindflay combo the whole time and feel more like a mage. plus - Power Infusion ftw

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo not sure about what to think about those talents... New spells are pretty nice though. But my actual hybrid build (disc / holy) will be hard to optimize with those talents tree... :(
Anyway, I think I'll go shadow to grind 60->70

what is annoying is that they mix up the disc and holy tree so that some talents that would help, for say, lolsmite build are in holy tree... doesnt make sense and wastes space :(

this (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-priest/talents.html?5002313133505120510012320500303200000 0000000000000000000000000) is what i'll probably go for in the beginning. Still can heal, but in pvp i can't die. When i get my wishlist complete i'll be invincible :D
