I would like to know if RL would prefer Ncwerner.com for any kind of Alliance discussion or prefer a new Forum for this kind of activity ?

Its probably a good idea to use NCWerner.com as its established and many people will have already got the site address, but as things seem to have changed dramatically in those that are joining up it might be better to make a clean start?

As for a clean start, easiest would be to wipe clean and restart the existing forum, but if that can't be done, a new one would guarantee that only those interested were there, which would make it simpler for new arrivals to sort through messages and not have to disregard out of date stuff?

I do believe that if there is a common place that the active and organisational members of all the outfits that are working to this end could meet, that it would be a good thing, and another forum for all members within the group of outfits to meet and get to know each other.

The ideal setup would be one "Mega Outfit" that was divided into divisions, but could then all join up at an instant, but that is pie in the sky, has been suggested many times and never come to fruition. Until SoE makes a way to either form proper alliances, or merge outfits without loss, I feel that can't happen.

For NCWerner.com to work we need to agree on common ground, so if members of RL would post their thoughts please it would help.

clean start in the old forum sounds fine.

one mega outfit would be very nice to have but the more members the more they fight eachother. even in small outfits there are lots of conflicts allready.
not to think about a 300 members outfit.
and who should lead that ? i can think of no one who is respected by all nc :/
(and i like our outfit name way too much to join a new outfit :P)

Clean start wont be easy. Forums are hosted by Deadhead from Brutal Deluxe who is on WOW right now. Where NCWerner.com is hosting Brutal Deluxe Forums aswell but hidden.

Any changes we want needs to be forwarded to him.

In my opinion we should perhaps think of something new. But iam collecting opinions about it inside the 58th right now.

Could we not simply have an "alliance members" section set up in either these forums, or the 58th ones? or even in the wernerstat forums, it would save on having yet another site to have to look at.

Nice website! Really impressed by the "Outfit Statistics!" Wonder if there's a way of stealing...er, borrowing that for over here....heh.

I just registered there, but since I'm new to the site I'm still a little lost. Any help in pointing me to the "NCWA" area of the forums? Or are they not setup yet?

As a webmonkey i could setup our own webforums in no time. I personaly wouldnt put it up on any outfit page. The NCWA should be neutral.

58th is getting enough fame through wernerstats :p

Not sure about wernerstats, sure it would be possible. But shouldnt Wernerstats stay a neutral place for all Werner players ?

I could even sponsor a new domain for the "new alliance" to have a neutral link, all running on my dedicated server. Any ideas on that ?

Okay, let me ask you this question: Is DeadHead in anyway responsible for the 58th, AF, BD breakup? Or has he been gone doing the WOW thing (shakes fist at WoW and its addictivness)??


I ask, because when NCWA started it was me and Dead doing it all. He was excited about it and he wanted it to work. He wanted BD to help out, and he wanted to see the Outfit's coming together.

If he did go over to WoW before the breakup, then I will send him a PM requesting that he give me Admin back on the forums for our "Alliance" area. Which would be a hidden area viewable by Alliance outfit members only.

The fear I have is that by changing domain names (ncwerner.com) we may confuse and lose people, also the recognition that this place has is worth its weight in gold.

I know we are starting small, but I have the big picture in my mind. I would hate to see us get 1 month into this thing (ie: 4 events and 28 days ) without having another Outfit join us. I definitely agree that we need to pace ourselves, and that we must learn to walk before we can run. But we also must realize that to make this work, we must have more players.

Just my thoughts for now.

Well we onlt hope to have 5/6 outfits in our new NCWA yes? Outfits that want to work together.

So having our own forums separate to NCwerner.com will be easier, Its not going to be hard to tell our guys what the forums will be for.

I've tried to speak to BraveHeart three different times now and each time he's too busy to stop and speak. I don't know if its because he's out there saving our Conts or because he's too busy killing things. But, since I haven't spoken to him and he is their OL, nothing is settled. I know Moose was going to speak to Beckbond, but I don't know if he's had the chance yet.


5/6 Outfits by the first month and a half would be great. But at the same time, don't close your minds to something larger. It would still require the same dedication/teamwork that 58th, RL, and Fight Club show when we work together. But I think with requirements and "losing alliance status" as a brow-beater that we would only get Outfits that really do want to work together. For example : Nordic Assault - Good crew.

As for the question of Fight Club - I hope they are involved, as they are VERY tight and work well together as a team. So I have no problem at all with them coming over to the TS server permenantly (if 58th alllows) if they wanted too.

Good to hear, mate! I sent BH a PM today on the PS forums, but still haven't heard anything. This is very similar to the last time we invited Merc's into the NCWA - they don't say "no" they just don't say anything at all. But, maybe this time is different...

I have read most of the comments here. Realy dont have a big view on this issue, but I think its wise that those that have intrest, faith and will to be doing to work for this are the peps that should have full control.

Not to say anything bad about deadhead, but if hes more "laid back" to the idea now that hes in WoW... it would probaly be best to start something new that is fully under control of peps that still play PS.
