for wow I feel that recruitation still has not been sorted out yet. I sugest this as a recruitation procedure:

When a player is invited he gets the rank of "initiate"
to be promoted to member the user has to aquire a certain amount of "recruitation points" these are aquired by getting points from different types of members:

initiate: 0.5 points
Member: 1 point
Officers and Veterans: 3 points

once the needed number of points have been aquired (for example 10) the player is promoted to member. To get veteran status, the player must aquire another set of points (6 or 9for example) that can only be given by guild leaders and officers.

This is very easy to keep track off, because you can place a small point marker in the officers note tab in the guild tab :)

Just my 50´ cents :D

uh, that made no sence. care to elaborate?
And as far as I know, no one here sucks up to the "leaders" of renegade legion. But I would think it is obvious that veterans should get some respect from the newbies.

too over complex, just have people start out as a initiate then after a few weeks or whatever, the "chiefs" have a quick chat to see if they deserve promotion, simple

no one would send you cash anyway vis ;)
and if renegades are that easy to influence then I suppose the system is not good ;)

I cant help it, the evil capitalist trading system and skill buildup costs of WoW has warped my fragile little mind :(
