InterOutfit Event Sucess!

Yesterdays OutfitEvent was just awesome!!:)
RL FTW:P

I feel that even with the low numbers we have had lately is not been to much of a problem, and they are starting to pick up again sometimes:)

Yesterdays event with 58th,AF and AD "Operation Get VS of Cyssor" was just great! Awesome job on Azeban an incredible work on Ikanam, which we got in the nick of time! just to piss of the VS:D Which we did, and got he whole vs zerg on our ass :cool:

I would also like to thank all of the 58th, AF and AD. Great work to everyone:)
How many where we? wasnt it 44ppl? almost an Red Alert in gals^^

Ohh, and before i forget to mention it;) Last week on Wendsday and Thursday was great work as well!! when we kicked off the start of VS on hossin, just flying around doing tower gal drops, We probaly had about 20+ VS in those towers! :cool:

Then lets not forget Solsar on Thursday, where we resecured Aton Twice! once under Yellow Alert and second under an Red Alert, all without a gal! :P we got the spawns up both times:) :cool:

too bad later in the night there were only 2 nc online when vs attcked hossin and tr solsar.
really bad show from vs and tr.
double ganked us the whole morning while nc had below 25% population for more than 7 hours.

Not sure about the inter-outfit co-operation, I didnt see much from the other outfits but I wasnt on channel commander on TS.

I would like to say that last nights turn out of people with Vanguards was great, it brought a tear to my eye to see 5 RL vanguards kicking ass on cyssor. Also a special thanks to Hater whos gunnery skills are certainly alot better than mine and it was a pleasure to drive u around for 3 hours. Also a bit thanks to Tata who lead the sqaud last night, its just a shame we only had half a platoon on last night as I wonder just how many Vanguards we could have turned out with a full platoon.

Lo, nice to hear people enjoyed it, its always good to play in a large force.

An event of some sort is being planned for next sunday, not sure what type yet.


For future events do you have any ideas how to make them better? (e.g we already set targets for each squad, and each has a TS channel with channel command) always looking for new ideas to make our team work better.

well i didnt have time to witness the vanguard pwng, was getting late and i had to goto work:( but i can imagine how it was ^^ myself i love vanguards its just soooo niiiice!! :) hehe

Well for the co-op with the other outfit, it was really good, cuz everu outfit had their objective, their place to defend.

We held the backdoor at azeban while they held the stairs and front door. :) When we recalled and loaded up the gal for Ikananm, they stayed back and held the VS at azeban, so we could get ikanam:) when the lost at azeban, the came to ikanam and held the backdoor and stairs:) and we did get ikanam by the second ;) heh

so what im saying if they wouldnt have been where they were, you would have noticed it really good;) they VS did have 2:1 against us so i think they did an excelent job at azeban and ikanam, along with RL:)

do not call your squads Yellow, Orange... on command chat.
i was in RL yellow squad and everytime someone said Yellow squad do this, yellow squad do that, i was quite confused.

I think someone was getting confused as to which key they had bound for command chat and which for general team chat.

If people keep their normal key for squad chat and another one that is fairly remote to that for command, they won't hit the wrong key accidently.

Ok, maybe we name each squad e.g Squad 1,2,3 etc?

oh and the mix up between normal chat and channel command was proably me :( hehe (i normally do it anyway)

When it comes to commanding it think we should do a couple of these things:

First:
Alright for command chat i think we should have 1 commander for each outfit on CMD TS. What im saying is theres is basiclly only 4ppl talking on cmd chat, one from each outfit.

Second:
Group up each outfit in one squad/platoon.

Third:
Maybe we should make an inventory of the squad? f.eks AF has got 5 grunts 2 maxes. RL has got 3 maxes 11 grunts etc.So its easier for the commanders to put out objectives to the outfits.

Fourth:
Each outfit should be designated with an objective.

Take Azeban as an example.
- RL hold BD
- 58th hold Mainroom
- AF hold Top Stairs
- AD hold bottom Mainroom and stairs

Fifth:
1 guy in final command, says what needs to be done, where each outfits goes, basiclly has the last word if an quarell appears on what to do.


I belive this would help us a bit in commanding in a more "clean" way, so we dont get any mixups:)


And for the next event on sunday i belive its going to be an Vanguard event.
So well'l be needing Lodestars, Vanguards, Skyguards, BFR's.
suggest we use the week to practice our vanguard skills or skyguard skill, whatever your going to be:)

Well some events have happend which will change all this.
BDx has pulled out of 58ADL, they decided it wasnt to there play style.

Then later on AF left too :(, both outfits have left the TS server too.
But we will go on, and hopefully recruit some new outfits :)

And yes its a vang/sky guard event :)

i was chatting to Braveheart today and he says the mercs might be interested in joining us :O which would be cool... have to speak to beckbond about it tho. suggest we use the week to practice our vanguard skills hehe yeah right!

Atm me and BH75 are working on some alliance/ncwa forums (or what ever we are called)

Then i will be picking some outfits (3/4) to invite to join our TS and our ncwa.

But this will be in 2/3 weeks, as we really need some joint forums.

But i will talk to beckbond, as his outfit is very good :)
