I need a new good game

i need a good strategie game with a good leddersysthem does anyone know one?
i was used to play age of empires but that game is to old now, i need a new one.

i don't like worcraft 3 i din't manage to become the best there was always someone better than me

if u enjoy the game what difference does it make who is best? i have seen the really good guys playing and there isnt anything special about them... they just play the game a lot:D

most ea games have a ladder system, something like battle for middle earth is ladder orientated

of course it's not funny if u are not the best, u get into a higher and higher lvl in the ledder and then u reach a lvl where every1 is better than u and after losing 40 games in a row u start hating it.
