So, the next question is, how much computer will gamers need to run Battlefield 2? Well, no one is entirely sure yet, but Digital Illusions has confirmed that their target minimum specifications are:
1.5 Ghz CPU
512 Megabytes of RAM
128 MB video card (must support 1.4 shaders)
So, Battlefield 2 is quite a bit more demanding than its older brothers. No big surprise, but this does give gamers somewhere to start thinking about an upgrade.

battlefield 1942 min spec is:
CPU: 800 MHz CPU
RAM: 256MBytes of RAM
Video: 3D Accelerated 64MB video card or equivalent
HDD: 160 MB free hard disk space
Optical drive: 16X Speed CD-ROM/DVD-ROM
and i cant even run it with everything on low and the maximum view distance :(
