Does your hard disk thrash every time you get the freeze?

i know what the problem is:
are you using windows to set up your internet connection? It happened with when windows created my internet connection. If i used 3rd party software, it worked fine, then the problem dissapeared.

1. he said memory.
2. do a ctrl alt delete and click on CPU tab, then watch - does the cpu bar shoot up over a stutter? if it does, then i sounds like the same problem as I have. I'll find the name that I use, ill post soon
EDIT: I use a proggy for my wireless card called WLAN a+b+g mini PCI module

if you have two nether cards installed (lan cards) this might cause a conflict when both try to access the internet at the same time. to fix it disable one of them, or do as I did, uninstall the software, and if that dosn't do it, rip it out and smash it with a huge hammer.

The net sharing is probably 90% of your problem.
Are you on ADSL or Cable?
