CS Server

Seems like the CS:S server isn't being used much anymore...

The subscription ends in less than a fortnight, should we have another month?

lol, we had such a laugh yesterday... slapping people silly and teleporting paul into random places :p

BTW, who were the 3 people who voted for the 1st option (they play frequently and will pay?). I wouldnt mind donating towards the server, but theres just not enough people playing CS:S

Oh yeah, we had another friendly 5 vs 5 clan match yesterday, was good fun.. we played Aztec and Cobble and guess what? .... we won! :D

P.S. Lets make a rule for ALL admins *looks at paul*... do not kick fellow RL players from the server, it looks bad. :rolleyes:

it was fun last night tho, there was 2 people on the server as wel las me n raj, it was me v them 2 and raj was a spectator and he kept teleporting me to close by them so i could kill them with my scout :p

I would be playing but I happen to have problems with my ISP at the moment (400+ping). Untill thats sorted I cannot play, however I can still put money up towards the server.

I honestly cant afford to spend money on a thing im not using....


My solutions

A) Leave the server Offline for 1 month... if no-one misses it... Leave it offline.

B) Someone else takes over the server sub....

there really is no point in running a server if only 3 maybe 4 people are going to be using it. its just a waste of money. As ludi said just leave it for a month or two see how it goes and rent one again when people wanna play again..but by the looks of things on the forum most of the people have gone off to play WoW so there really wont be many people using it..there are also many server you can play source the only difference is that you wont have admin on it..and if you really need an empty server for stuff like training the person with the best connection should just start a server from their pc...im sure it'll be able to handle around 5 people

I'am sorry if I got pissed off tonight but all that teleporting people around and other bullshit just wound me up.
Once or twice is funny but to keep going on and on is just f...ng annoying.
So I for one won't be paying to renew the server. If the admin mod stays in its present form.

yeah, teleporting is annoying, but raj showed its uses on the map after u left, there was soem dude camping alot, so raj stuck him ontop of the big light on compound lol
