In full agreement - this is something as many of us as possible should get involved in.

The Rat Pack begin their run at 8.00 BST (GMT+1)

I'd like us to be in place and ready to rock AT LEAST 15 minutes before that, which means we begin to gather in QH at 7.00 BST.

That's GMT +1. We invented time, clocks and pretty much everything else worthwhile, so we go with BST :p


This should give us plenty of time to group up and select our destinations.


QH will also be the best place to mess around with your graphics\performance settings - there will hopefully be an awful lot of toons being generated in the various zones, and I expect all but the very best PCs will suffer.

Be nice if we could take down the bag-man, but it should be good fun in any case, hope lots of us can make it.

A lill summ up to all who missed it:

we decided to set up a trap for the ratties at the one chocke point they had to get past. A bit before the vally in Nek Forest wich leads onto the beach.

lying in shurbbery covered up we saw the full Vortex Raid fly past us on the griffons ... me thinking "ouchie" but hopefully we can get the rats before they catch up with their protective force ... aye so the Rats came .. walked past us .. we where a tad too late springing the trap so we ended up chasing the rats into the Vortex Force ... first steamroll in the vally there ...
revive to pull back to the bells at Neck Docks just to get steamrolled again ...
Reviving and jumping trough the bells at around the same time as the last Rats leaving the big part of the Vortex dudes on the Docks in Nek.

We decided to pull all the way back into Antonica and make another stand there wich we did after regrouping at the Waterfall in Anto... and once again we got steamrolled by the overpowering Freepscum force .. well it was fun
but beeig one of the rare ones the high lvl's of Vortex could attack i got a good clobbering very quickly needless to say we got steamrolled again;
and we decided to not give them any more infamy wich almoste turned out that way but we couldnt resist jumping on them again once they went into NQ and got jumped at by the guards ... in the middel of this huge fight is where my PC decided to not want to do anything with the EQ2.exe and killed its process .... crasheroo ... once logged back in as a corpse in NQ we had soem great fun to splatter some carnage flagged rats wich we could conquer at last in front of the jeweler in NQ ... we managed to kill their two groups, was a bit of a slaughterfest tbh .. but whtf. no loot no chests ... ??

a couple mins. later i got a tel from "Lemon" a Q. alt. from a Rat Packie telling me that they decided to give us the price money as we where the only ones standing up against them in this "Event" and that we should meet em in Down Belowe where Frosch got the honour to Kill Soullibilli (spelling!?) and Wirrie could loot the 1.2pp off of that chest. yay! victory is sweet.
so all our deaths and the vast ammount of debt we collected was well worth the try .. not to mention the reputation boost we got there beeing the only ones standing against them .. the lill showoff of Asc. and Purity didnt mather att all they came ways to late as of beeing a part of the event .. the Event was over and done with once we where chatting with the Rats or more likely emoting with them in DownBelow.

At this place i want to thank all 'Gades who joined us in that fun Raid ... we could learn again some valuable aspects of PvPing in larger scales and i guess we all had fun!

Great job all; thanks again also in the name of The Rat Pack!

Hi there!

Well Dodge told the story already. It was a great idea of Jharek and Dodge to ambush them at the hidden beach passage. Well next time we'll get them! :cool:

I was a bit disappointed about so less high lvls on Q side for the event, espacially Asc. To think it is a mid lvl raid is absurd when Vortex agreed to join the event (SOE forum). When we called for Asc they where in schedule raid and can't stop for this once-only event! :eek: Anyway Asc got there easy kills and fame in NQ and FP later that night.

After all RL was the only guild on Q side who attacked the rats on there way to NQ. I think RL got much fame on Q side and FP as well (SOE forum) … maybe Ydiss or Arte won't kill me while harvesting in SS next time … ah never mind … was a dream.

On next event we need to organise much better in RL and other guilds. We where only a non full x3 pickup raid. We are able to form a substantial force against the FPs … ah and we will ask Asc to help us some days before next time!!!

Anyway it was much fun and I learned a lot! Thanks to everyone who joined the event. Big thanks to Rat Pack, they should betray! I will never fling pupu on them again!

Hello.

I must say, it was REALLY funny.
Also it was my first bigger event and so i am ver happy that i could take part.
I hope, i can join you in another raid- or group-event soon.
And to Ascension and there "heroic" rescue after Ratpack already been in Q and there even more "heroic" counter attack.... Well, they are true heroes..........

Non the less: IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!
