Zakopane, Poland. Nice place, with some good snowboarding runs.
It was a blast, but I did have to spend the first 4 days of my vacation teaching my GF how to snowboard. But it is well worth the effort, now we can go anytime!!

Gratz coz learning snowboard in 4 days is quite hard.
Does your GF manage to turn backside and frontside ? :)

LOL - Funny, I feel the same way about skiiers (sp?). Everytime I'm trying to teach someone how to snowboard some dumb skiier comes zipping by. And since they are skiier's, which makes them have the mentality of a monkey, they feel the need to come as CLOSE as possible before turning.
Bastards....8)

Hahaha it's like we have the same mind for differnt people....I always think the attitude of snowboarders is eeerm..like punks :D and that's why they come close before turning just to annoy you :p
But anyhow in both snowboard and ski there are bastards i just don't like snowboard (maybe because when i tried it i kept falling :p)

i both ski and snowboard (i hacked the cert terminal :P) but find that skiiers are more annoying. This is especially true on paths/catwalks. Skiiers always decide to start going slalom and block the path. And then you have beginner skiiers....
it doesnt matter anyway, off pieste, you have all the space you need.

heh snowboradings about the only thing i do alright at, i'm a fully qualified snowboarding instructor but the French are ghey about letting British people teach snowboarding in france cos you have to be qualified Ski insrtuctor first, and i hate sking
I could go elsewhere but, got free living if i work in France
