My PC keeps crashing on my. It blue screens (the ones that show that massive string of numbers and stuff) but I had forgot to switch off automatic restart so I didn't have time to note them down, but I will do so next time it happens. I did get this screenshot from the error message when it boots back up again. What does it mean?
It seems to be random...it did it twice in a row when I started up Mozilla, but the third time it didn't crash, and then it crashed in the middle of a Rome: TW game :S

I've been having similar troubles. I think it's the climate in my case, and I tend to always suspect such in these weather conditions. If you are using air cooling and the air in use isn't cold it can't move as much heat, net result your cooling system can end up running extremely inefficiently and you can end up crashing out at odd times. I'd take steps to ensure your PC is intaking cool air, in my case I have a fan in my room that blows across the room, cooling me (woot) and also providing cool air for the front intakes on the case.
That's just a guess though. Computers and summer are a bad combination.

Is that win2k? As Hovis said it could be heating probs or driver problems/hardware failure (videocard - check slots).

I have the side of my PC case off completely, plus fans front and back. I did think it was the weather at first, and I'm not ruling it out, but it was pretty cold yesterday morning and it still crashed :S
Anyway, I got another 'Windows has recovered' message and took a screenshot of the technical data:

I also got two different blue screen messages. The first, I have got at least twice, the second, only once that I have been able to read it.

Well Im not a expert but sounds like my problems on my backup comp. My solution was : use XP install disk -> repair a installation / check disk / Fdisk.
If not working try reinstalling the OS, and should fix it.
But have in mind that youd disks might need a /format :-((((((((( So hopfully you have no important data on your OS disk/partiton.

The fantastic windows error reporting system!
That shows a fault with addressing memory, it doesn't show whether its a hardware fault or software, as a bad or corrupt driver can address incorrect memory addresses and cause the same error as if those memory addresses themselves are at fault!
Have you tried rolling back to a restore point before the errors happened, just in case its a driver problem?
Are all drivers the most up to date?
What has changed since it was stable? (Weather has obviously been covered already but would have been my first guess).
Anything in the house changed, like a new fridge/cooker etc sometimes that can cause errors or surges in the power supply. Or if the supply to the house is a bit dodgy, lights ever dim slightly or brighten?
You've got a fan pointing directly at your open case, is the PSU fan working?
Does chkdisk show any errors?
Usual questions about adware/spyware virii/worms/etc, check the date of the last update on your scanning software, some nasty ones block updates.
