Would it be possible to set a date where everyone could take a few seconds off their gaming time to test how much mehepsk's vt server could hold?

We are interested in testing this out to see how many people he can host without suffering from a network problem himself. If it runs without trouble I am sure he also would be interested in hosting a server for us, if people decide they like vt better than ts :)

yup, vt or ventrillo was the first online chat program that included voice to voice chat. As far as I am concerned it is also the best (in quality, not in user friendliness) it requires less and delivers much more than ts does. Which imho is a good reason for swaping to it.
