hmm, btw.. I launched the game with the finalbeta login+pass and that just worked, its downloading the patch now, but dont know if it is possible to use that account or enter a new serial number later on

after downloading the patch, ull have to create a new account. tried to log into "manage account" earlier and edit my final beta account, but it didnt exist anymore.

I think ill play some trusty old Planetside for a while and try again later.

this is usual for all mmorpgs on launch day, I still can not see why a single company has not realised that they need to set up extra servers for the first few days of creation.

Anyway, im gonna chill out and play some cs then come back later in the day (don't hope for it to be usable still :) )

Start\run then type in cmd if NT operatin system, if 9X type command, once you have the black box up type

ping -t signup.wow-europe.com

As soon as you get a response back and not: Request Times Out then try signing in again

This is common for all mmorpgs at launch, I don't remember any game that I have beta tested (large ones), that managed to keep the servers/account signup pages up :)
