being the one that made the logo - i think that the site should stick to this current scheme. Pick one of the three colours that make up the website - black wont work (especially with the logo)

If you use FireFox (what all decent developper should do), download the extension Colorzilla (https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&version=1.0&os=Windows&category=Developer%20Tools&numpg=10&id=271) to get the color in hexa or RGB from any area of a webpage.
