I bought Doom 3 ages ago and with the release of the Lost Marine mod I thought I'd fire it op again. I download and isntall the latest patch and run it. I install the Lost Marine and run it. It boots up and lets me fiddle with my options before selecting a new game. Then is asks me for a CD key...ok...so I dig out my manual and enter the CD key. "This CD key is invalid" it says. Wtf? I try playing Doom 3 and before I even get to the options menu it asks me for my key. I enter it again and again it tells me it's not valid. I try replaceing 5s with Ss and 8s with Bs but it still says invalid.
After a little searching I find that D3 connects to the net and checks the key is valid. Perhaps someone has used got my key from a keygen and its picking mine up as lready used. So I unplug my network cable and try again. Same thing.
