problem with game is no death penalty, from what i understand you mearly lose your crew when u die. Otherwise i'd be right there.

and yes i do still read these forums even though i dont play any games with u gus at the min, but my corp in eve will always have a place for renegades who want to pvp :) except derikan, he's too naughty

Think its almost ready for Beta, looking through the forums I believe there are a very very small number of outside testers already involved. Still, I applied for a beta test position fucking ages ago and havent heard anything back.

If I do get in then dont worry I will be ignoring any NDA and giving you all screen shots and stories of rape and plunder, and then a bit more raping.

The bastards have had that nice flashy beta sign is here now for a few months now. Think theyre being a bit sneaky, what you do once you register is have to send through a dxdiag of your system, I applied ages ago and still havent heard anything, think the cheeky motherless pigs are just surveying the system specs of peopel interested in playing rather than recruiting beta testers.

From what I gather they do have a very small number of external beta testers, a very small number.

Agree with that. You can ascertain the mental age of the desired playerbase by the severity of the death penalty. No death penalty means this game is aimed at kiddies.

im still loving sup com beta, especially as i pwn my flat mate at it, though volw still beats me which sucks.

AoC looks awesome, i just hope they can break their rep for making buggy games, and don't wowise any more before it coems out. Plans for a battle keep with my eve chums are afoot :)
