Show off your UI

[Shinigami]

I've been fooling around with the new Nurfed UI package, and this is what I ended up with.

The basic philosophy is to have the most commonly used abilities on the slightly larger central bar, and the less used combat skills below that. Other skills are grouped on the bars on the left, under the chat window. Autobar gives me potions and bandages within quick reach during combat.

The vertical bar on the right contains mostly leftovers right now, like things I don't really know where else to put.

Autobar was fixed for 1.7 I believe. As for my UI...it tends to change every other day, but here is its glorly as of last night:

DiscordActionBars for the bars
Flexbar for the lil Druid abilites you see (centre-bottom-right :P).
Benecast for the abilities you see above my playerframe
Everything else is pretty self explantory.

Oh, I'm the reason I'm making like a Paladin, is I decided to stealth to Hakkar...I got aggroed by some nasty cub before I made the water :(

That's the party frame. That there happens to be priests in it in the screenshot is because it was a newly invited raid :P

I redid my entire UI yesterday (redownloaded newest version of all mods, deleted WTF and WTD etc.) but it pretty much looks the same. Just wanted to give it an overhaul + get it all reset due to a few bugs and stuff.

Nymbia's pearl unit bars, they are nice but they lag me out now. Dunno if pariah is still using them cos think he has the same problem. But imo best looking frames out there that i can find.

That's what I use now, tried playing with flexbar and other shit but the performance sucked and I just couldn't get used to it so I went back to the classic one (with some minor changes :D )

Kind of... But here is alot of setttup to do. But otherwise ok addon. The only problem really is that some of the addons requires alot of cpu power like auctioner, lootlink and gathering. But hte discord buttons are really cool but takes some time to setup aswell. U can do almost everything, resize, move + much much more. But i have disabeld many of the addons here. And i have a addon that u can cast spells on ure self with just rightclick on the icon. This addon is not in the package.

@GA:
Gypsy_Unitbars with MissingHP is great, but I've found Nurfed_Unitbars to be even better. They're more compact while giving all the same info and showing debuffs better.

And as Kaldor said, I find having the healthbars more central in the screen is quite nice as a healer.

One thing I've done on all my chars it to move all skills with cooldowns to the same place on the screen (using flexbar) so I can get an overview of all cooldowns with one glance at the same bunch of buttons.

Niko - looking at your healthbars - the thing it doesnt seem to show are the health defecits. This i think is the most important stat that a healer should see and I can't live without it. If nurfed does show the stats, could you show me a screenie of that so I can see without having to upload the mod?

edit: stuck in nerfed - niko or whoever - what do you think of positioning? (jacked it from niko :P) Can't really find a space for my target's unit frame. Don't want it to get covered by my party's debuffs.

If you download Insomniax you can just take the fonts part from the compilation. U need to take the FrameXl (Interface-folder) and to get the Insomniax Core (Addon-folder).

Dont have a bar mod only blizz owns. Go into interface options and chose to show all action bars.

You can make it with Discord Unitframes. Takes a bit of time to get into how to set it up, but you can make some sweet stuff and personalize it to every toon/class you have and then just load the one you need at any given time. You can also add to that other discord elements like actionbars or extra fancy art such as 3d models for every thing.

I'm currently building up a discord unitframe set which is all round for all my toons, not quite done yet. Gonna replace the standart unitfram set from Nurfed while still keeping the other nurfed elements.

Ooh read more about the Discord mods on Curse and seems like the Discord Action Bars is exactly what i've been looking for in addition to that Unitframes! Tried with Flexbar last night but i'm too much of an airhead to work with codish thingy like that since there's no interface on Flex and you have to learn a mountain of slash-commands to tune it.

For me it's like:

"hmm how do you do that?"

I think he's using MobInfo. Works the same as MobHealth2 and most mods that is compatible with MobHealth2 is also compatible with MobInfo. MobInfo let's you configure your tootip with loads of useless information :D

Well Naturall, party frames goes up from "Eno". I got Perl, Benecast, Nurfed UI (The bars in the middle) and discord action bars for moving around my bars. DAB takes a bit of time setting up, but it's worth the effort.

When "in combat" all usable bars pop up (spell bars and an extra bar with bandages and pots). Also the colour of the rings becomes alot stronger.

It's a combo of ArcHUD (bcz of the compability with FlightPath) and Discord Unit Frames.

Reborn looks kinda' good, but also sort of fills up the screen a bit much and I can imagine it'd cut down the FPS on my machine quite a bit.

I made a few modification since as now there are % near HP in self target and party. target of target only show % anymore. And I added keyring too wich was missing near the other bags

I Used Discord mods to do it (discord action bars, discord unit frames, discord frame modifier, discord art and discord minipanels)
There is Titan panel too and CTraid for raid frames

Hey what mods you using? It's so clean! I really like the party frames and stuff, if anyone knows, please post the name of the mod and a link maybe even!

I made a few modification since as now there are % near HP in self target and party. target of target only show % anymore. And I added keyring too wich was missing near the other bags I personally feel that seeing how many HP your party members have lost is much more useful. E.g. a Mage at 50% HP might only be missing 1500 health wheras a Warrior at 50% might be missing 4000 health, knowing the exact amount helps you decide the most appropriate heal to cast.

would agree with that - you can turn on health deficit in CTRA. For party frames, i would reccomend xperl as they are more configurable and also show target's target's target (which is a must have for healing imo)

I see the point in doing that. checking if the mob a tank is fighting is targeting the right person and if not switch to that person to heal. But I don't know if xperl is good. If it's based on perl unit frames engine then I won't use it as it was making a mess in my Interface with lags and DC in 40 man instances. I prefer discord for that but the target of target of target doesn't exist yet (will post a suggestion on discord forums)

I always used the health/max heal for my healing. Don't need hp on my target of target as depending of the class I can estimated hp left. And I use it either to check what mob is targeting or how much life left a mobs as as most of the time target are players nuking.
BTW I made a new UI with a new mod in. I use model citizen for 3d models instead of fixed portrait. So I changed all, I have vertical bars now. Pics will follow soon. But I took in charge GA's advices on another post. Party takes less space now on the left and I resized the raid to a smalle size to gain space on the right. I have more clear are around my char now with^^

Took a few weeks ago a new pic with new interface. Most change is now using nurfed ui instead. Thanks to surion for the UI model, just added some modifications in color ,raid mana bar size and buff display not included before. Now it s very clear as ALL raid bars change color with %hp left. Easy to see a yellow bar in a list of other blue ones. target target of target is clickable too now. most usefull is during rajjax fight as he often switch target, I can easily go onto aggroed target without having to look in raid. I can have all 40 people in one colunm.

Interface can still look a bit heavy but as a healer I must display all raid HP bars as even if you re assigned to a few people you can have to emergency heal another target if your work gives you enough time for

GA : it s a modified version of nurfed unit frames. Surion can tell you the original builder. I made some modifications myself essentially cause I didn't liked the bar colours and in raid mana bar were taking half of the height over health bar and it was much harder to see if life or mana was top. and Wanted to show buff too cause they weren't here on original UI. can send you a zip with the concerned folders if you want to try it out

Which you dont need to do anything to really, just install into your WoW folder and it will have all Photeks settings saved and you shouldnt have to set anything up. Some bits of Ace2 are nice but as i say look a bit too basic.



Otherwise try going back to 4.9 (i think) to use discord (in photekUI) but take a little more memory and take a little more time to set up. Thats what i did. And think it dont look too bad.

With the camera zoomed out abit it's surprisingly easy, I never find my self lost and I got a really good view of everything that's going on.

And just about everything goes on above the raid bars anyway, so I don't have a problem watching: where a tank is, a mob is or something different.

And no, I would never turn off my group bars, since getting a view of my group and seeing their HP/Mana is vital information to me, also for the once in a while PoH or if someone is suddenly going down fast I notice it much faster with group bars on.

I try and keep it simple and so that it takes minimal effort to get something done in both healing AND damaging.
There for i use keybindings for healing, and that big square of healing buttons for my healing setup.

Got a lot of stuff like corruption, life drain, life tap, demon + more bound to several hotkeys so they're not present. Furthermore im only lvl 39 at the time^^

I guess bongos action bar. Or you can have a try with nurfedui too but as it s a very special developping (for special features like target or stance changing AB) you may have some problem to set it up. Still in Beta though, next version still in dev.

Yes you may be right. I was only missing the old raid frames who were really good but when you see his last comment about why the next version is not released, it s a link to rupture where you can see he spend 10 hours a day in arena.... so consider it as dead.
I miss good raidframes, sraid are good but not complete and you can't have a custom sorting. tried ozraid too with a custom sorting but so weird you can't have both hp and mana bars in the same frame.

got around to setting UI up for my pala, Ares.

using Bartender3, Grid (raid frames), Perl-X Unit Frames, Titan.

the raid frames will show up in the center of the square in the screen.

target (forgot to target myself [doh]) will be on the opposite side of the square, along with T's Target and T's T's Target

bag, mini-menu, greater blessings, tanking buttons (concecrate, taunt, right. fury), undead/demon pew pew buttons ,mount/profession buttons are on the right side, just hidden until mouse-over :)

Don't have a screenshot of Cathus' UI handy at the moment, because I'm at Uni. I'm currently using Bartender + a ported version of Discord Action Bars that works with >2.0 UI API changes. I've tried bartender and bongos and found that both didn't fit my need for customizability that DAB meets. I'd be using Discord Unit Frames, too, but the ported version isn't working properly at the moment, so I have to wait until the author (who took a break from UI coding for months) finally releases Discord UI Builder.

Anyway, here's a screenshot of my rogue's pre-2.0 UI it looks pretty much like my current one, except for the unitframes.

Was browsing through compilations on curse-gaming when found this beauty, immidiately saw what I could do to improve looks/functionality. After a while I conclusioned I would rather be off dl'ing piece by piece, i.e. addon by addon, but was too lazy)).
Hate things like autobar, autoloot, autowhatnot. I think I deleted over 50% of what originally was in package :x

Nah it's np rally as when I raid i just have all the raid grps dragged out and then i play "Wack-a-mole" (or whatever it's called) with the healthbars that goes down.
