Well i cought liek 3 episodes and thought NICE! so i bought all 4 seasons.. 96 horus of DVD for £36.

Ive not seen em before so dont runit it but ive got my next liek 3 weeks of evenign TV set out for me :D

I've watched chunks of it, including series 4, and a lot of folks at work rave about it. FWIW I think the whole thing is a huge heap of dogshit.

watched season 1 and 2 in a matter of days. 3 and 4 i watched on TV. they all rock and the peopel making them keep coming up with great new stuff.

and coming from a cinemagraphic and narrative standpoint, the cinematography is always good and the way they are able to put a time to it all is impressive.

The only thing good about 24 is that there is no lag, no pings and the good guys can choose the server and maps they want to play on.

It's not that impressive. If you watch the action is basically broken up into four six hour blocks, or thereabouts. To be honest if it hadn't been for 9/11 having so many attacks in one day 24 would probably have just been another action series.

I don't like it anyway. Main reasons are:

1. CTU security teams that are sent out with agents always die. Always. It's ridiculous. They are like the red shirt guys from Star Trek. An agent shows up at a place with two beefy CTU security guys with them, 100% certain those security guys will be taken out instantly by a baddy, probably having never got a shot off.

2. Jack Bauer will dodge hundreds of bullets over the course of the day. Nobody is that lucky. They might as well have called it the Lucky Jack Bullet Dodging Hour.

3. The plots are fucking retarded. I don't want to spoil it for anybody but they are monumentally dumb. All of them. All the time.

4. Nobody at CTU eats, sleeps, poos or pisses over the course of the 24 hours. Nobody at CTU even looks like they've been up for 24 hours. If by the end of the series Jack and company looked ragged, like newmown shit the way most people who dodge bullets for 24 hours look it would be far better.

5. Why do the forces of global terrorism always strike within a half hour drive of CTU headquarters in LA? Why not hit Pittsburgh, the guy in charge of CTU there is probably a knob. Who plans a 24 hour terrorism binge in the back yard of the best man in the world for stopping 24 hour terrorism binges?
