I have an LG Studioworks 700S. Works good, nice menu and buttons. No idea how good it is though, it's the only monitor I've had in recent times.

Whatever you choose, if youre going for a LCD screen.
You should have atlest the specs 19" and 8ms (lower is better).

Actually JoJo the ms isnt that much of an issue... i was playing CSS on a 25ms TFT and saw very very little ghosting.

Lower IS better, but by no means write off a good screen just cuz it aint the fastest.

I use a Samsung SyncMaster 913N and wow this screen is good allround. Good in games, good at movies, good in Photoshop. Max res is 1280x1024 and even out-off size (ie 1024x768) it still has a very good display (which is one of the big issues with a TFT screen).

Side note: Most TFT screens today actually use Samsungs panels.

side note afaik all tft's are only made in 3 factories in the world, so chances are ur sony is from the same factory as that logix/digix one u've never heard of.

But they use very different components.... There seems to be only two makes of Panel tho, LG and Samsung....

LG is the best for picture quality but Samsung tend to make the fastest panels...

But like i said earlier... speed isnt that important, especially if you cant see what you aiming at :)
