Looks like the EVE part of RL didn't make it onto the new boards, or maybe it's hidden somewhere in a sub-sub-sub-forum.

More bad news is that I'm definitely taking my leave of EVE, just not the type of game for me anymore.

If anybody's interested in working out how character transfers work - I have several million skillpoints and some really high standings, plus both of the Minmatar battleships and proper equipment (also a full set of +3 implants and some other stuff).

As far as I know you can take over a character and change the portrait/name etc. so you just end up taking over the skillpoints and the equipment.

News on this: I might let my younger brother take a look at the game, maybe share the account (more for some nice space chatting than actually playing, really miss that part of EVE. Nothing beats Skull + Derek talking nonsense in the early morning hours ;) plus I've got to do at least one Level 4 Mission with you guys :P ).
