A query on schedules

Just a question to the officers, as well as an attempt to see how other people feel about this.

Will we only be doing raid content (MC / Onyxia) on weekends, or do you intend to schedule raids on weekdays as well? If we only go on weekends, it's going to take ages before we get through MC, and since we have to clear the trash and first bosses when we go in again, we will be doing the same things over and over. IMO we should be going in several times over the following week before the instance resets to see how far we can get. It will of course depend on the available players.

I think many people are getting to a point where they have most of the items they need from Strat/Scholo/BRS, so we might get to a point where people become bored with those places soon. I have a feeling that many people are only going in order to get DKP for MC items, but some people are already starting to hit the soft cap and are getting diminishing returns because there are few items left to spend points on in the regular 10/15 man instances.

BUT i agree we cannot just do MC on weekend... we wouldn't get no where.

Its a ncie idea to offer points for UBRS Strat Scholo etc to encourage people to get there gear but I like Fusion feel it needs to be separated sometime. Gear is very very important down in MC etc and people truly need to realise that. Offering points for those raids as time goes on will probably irriversibly damage the dkp system.

Our soft cap (After which you start to get half points) is currently set at 100. LAst nights MC run earnt everyone there 36 points. I'd expect we can take down 6 bosses on a good MC night, likely netting 60 points for an evenings work, compared to full Stratholme (the heaviest weighted Tier 0 instance) at 12 points.

You can easily get enough points to spend by raiding MC alone. But those people who spend their week helping kit the guild out in Strat/Scholo/BRS will have a few points more for that weeks MC/Ony run, although nowhere near the 45pt average bid on most epics.
