Paladin Epic Mount End Part (Scholo)

Recently i aquired the last needed component for the paladin epic mount quest. Now i am ready for the end part of this quest (Scholomance, Darkmaster Gandling). I recently tried LFG with no luck. All my guild chat efforts were unsuccesful, noone seems to be interested (with few exceptions). Biggest problem seems to be the lack of priest. So if any of you guys need the quest and/or are available for it (i would say 3-4 hours at least) and feel like helping or looting, please leave a message or answer the thread. The ideal group configuration (according to what i have read) would be :

1 x priest
3 x paladins (those who actually need the quest should have priority)
1 x mage/rogue/warlock/paladin (preferably with this order)

all level 60 to eliminate possible level aggro.

Today could be a good time, since there is no DKP event. I am going to be online from 16:00 - 23:00 (maybe later if needed), in case it actually happens and gonna check periodicaly during the morning for feedback.

Done it last week with 1 warrior, 2 pala, 1 mage and 1 priest.
Works like a charm. :)

Thnx for replying guys... all of you. The way i see it, after your feedback it requires at least 2 paladins and a priest. So 2 spots are available to other classes. Still the basic need is priest and since noone is sure to come, we wait till one is found. Personally i would prefer someone from the guild, but if we cant find one we will LF one.

Now, concerning needs...
My needs are obvious so i am up for one spot. I know Poltergeist wants valor helm off darkmaster (he is kinda desperate actually, plz try to comfort him when u can :P), so i guess he is one more spot. Mavi could be one more spot since she needs that fluid stuff, or Necto if she is not avail (or he wants smth too), if no mage is available.

That´s 3/5, still missing two important spots, 1 paladin and 1 priest. So we wait...

I wouldnt mind going if we could catch some quests along the way, I still need Jandice for a quest.

Sadly I tried this 2 times with pali's and it failed everytime.
So Im a lil scared that maybe Im doing something wrong :p

Sorry about the late reply, when we were done last night it was already 01:30 local time and had to get up at 05:30 to go to work, so i didnt feedback u guys on our quest. Seree, beat me to that...

The group initially consisted of:
Poltergeist
Dragones
Seree
Moradyn (Paladin of the Sacred Order guild, late arrival since we couldnt find a paladin from our guild at that time)
Wothar (me)

Reservations were expressed by Moradyn who claimed it wouldnt work with this team and by Seree who was actually afraid of poor perfoming of her healing (never had a doudt about this, she actually did extra-super well).
Looting was droping right from the entrance, first kill droped a blue staff with very good stats for our Seree). Route to Rattlegore was not easy, some died because of unpredicted factors or spawns, got D/Ced for 15 minutes, but we finally got ourselves to Rattlegore and cleared his room.
This is the point were Moradyn insisted of calling 2 more paladins, so Poltergeist and Dragones who both by that time took quite a beating (Poltergeist being main tank and maintaining aggro and Dragones dealing damage while taking lots, wearing leather) actually offered to leave. I know it is not nice to actually ask a player leave an instance after putting so much effort in it and i didn´t, so them offering that did things easier (really thank you guys).

The main event begun with our main healer Seree, Moradyn, Wothar (me), Maelas (paladin), Anlorian (paladin) cramming up the northwest corner behind a bone pile. The room´s first kill (Risen Construct) droped a Pristine Black Diamond which unfortunately neither me or Seree won rolling (would be nice to "stay" in guild). Seree actually lost rolling by one point by one of the newcomers. We slowly begun to clear up the room (what was left of the little Rattlegores) and when we were done we set up the scryer to summon the spirits and the Deathknight. We only wiped once due to bad luck i guess, but were able to recover since one of the two last paladins used DI on me who was the last to stay alive. Rezes followed and finished up all waves relatively easy. The death knight caused some very minor problems with his domination and frequent criticals, but we never got in real trouble. We slowly crunched his hitpoints untill he died. He droped 2-3 blues, including a ring with mana regen for Seree. Used the charger on the dead deathknight and got my epic mount (at last, initially it didnt work and was somewhat disappointed, had to dump the scryer off the inventory just in case it was a bug - i guess i wont be able to repeat the event for loot now but at least i got my charger). One of the newcomers was confused in the beginning and didnt get his charger cause the deathknight´s body disappeared. Sorry for him...

The 2 late arrived paladins were properly thanked and Poltergeist and Dragones were invited back in to mop up the place and try to get the Darkmaster just in case he droped Valor Helm for Poltergeist (he wants it bad, real bad...). We arranged to join with the members that newly arrived, by properly getting killed by the spawns and Moradyn accidentaly used HS (but was convinced to come back). :D
The bosses fell one by one droping crapy loot most of the time.Still, Dragones managed to get 2 set items from her green set, almost got a 3rd but was rolled, not on purpose i guess, by Moradyn. Sorry Dragones... (and dont ever call yourself unlucky cause i never rolled 99 while being dead, ever :rolleyes: )

The Darkmaster proved much tougher since he teleported me in a room with about 15 elites (hint clear ALL rooms), where i died in a few seconds and Poltergeist and Moradyn too. Dragones and Seree were left last, Dragones attacked him (was looking at her HP bar, since i was dead), lasted much longer than i thought since Seree was out of mana (6% or less). When Dragones fell, the Darkmaster had 1% health, so we all shouted go Seree go go. She did and managed to kill him without getting below 50% HP (way to go Seree!!!). Rezes followed and looting the Darkmaster gave us a big disapointment, especially to Poltergeist (no Valor Helm again, for 43 runs for him, sorry m8).

That concludes our little, long adventure in Scholomance (hate this place), so i would like to thank all who participated in it for their time and effort and i just wanted to say that whenever they need me for anything and i am available and online i would gladly help. I would also like to thank those who offered their help but didnt take part, its good to have alternatives when it takes to quests. To paladins, count me in for your pala quest (just let me know a couple days ahead so i can schedule things), i know from personal experience its not easy to find a paladin when it takes to the scholomance part.

gratz :) and sorry I couldnt come - had sick teenager wif work trauma's and then my bf started with some mad virus thing - he has his own personal internal sauna going :( so had to do sum irl 'priesting' - but... kinda glad cos Seree got over her fear and proved she could do the business for ya's :) /cheer!
