well... as half th guild left when i logged on - I figured I wasnt gonna stay for th death throes......

won't be applying for RL - as I find it insulting - I've been around, been playing, learning, raiding etc - if you want to cull ppl fine - but asking ppl to re-apply and seek approval from th clique is pretty offensive to me - mebbe I have some strange ideas of friendship/loyalty/welcome....if you wanted me around - you wouldnt ask me to jump thru hoops for ya to earn ur approval...

anyway - yep am pissed off - and v v disheartened by this - was enjoying stuff, getting into raiding etc, opening up a lil to other ppl - have fun - if there is still any space in your agenda for that....

/hugs and may elune teach you to respect, honour, care for and cultivate each other...

When I 1st read the announcement, I tought the same.
But after re-reading it, I think it's just a way to recenter the goal of the guild and make everybody aware of it.
Re-applying to the guild is a way to show our motivation and that we have read and accepted the new goal.

I'm not part of WoW anymore so this isn't really any of my business but meh.

I think it's for the best. Some people, probably yourself, are the peopel RL want in the guild nad in a perfect world we'd put you in the new guild no questions asked. Asking you to go through an application process is unfair, I agree. But it is even more unfair to say to some ex-members "come on in" and to others to say "sorry, you have to reapply".

RL was on a sinking ship, nothing happened and a lot of people started Horde characters... just ask yourself what do you want from WoW? Do you want to lvl alt's, do Maraudon a zillion times and see BRD/BRS/Scholo/etc as the end goal of your character then the old RL was your guild for that. If you see Onyxia, Ragnaros, Kazzak, Blackwing Lair as your ultimate goal, the new RL is your guild. It may sound a lot like Inner Sanctum at first, but if you read the statement torough you will see that we DONT require people to spend 35+ hours per week getting a TFT/CRT tanning, we DONT want people to be elite and snobbish, and we DO want to help people reach lvl 60, get geared up so EVERYONE can enjoy Molten Core, Onyxia and whatever Blizzard sick fooks can trow at us.

I have to agree with you that it does sound very offensive at first, but thats an emotional response, try reading it again and think about it. To be very honest with myself and towards the guild, I was asked by some members of Inner Sanctum to apply, just before I read and knew that the old RL was going to disband. I've been thinking about it a lot, asked a very good person for her opinion and it opened my eyes, the new RL is indeed more promising than IS.. only thing is, the vision of the new RL is text only right now, all we have to do is make it work and go for it, you need to be 100% behind your own feelings and thoughts and if you have doubts about the new RL it isn;t going to work out.

This is no way racking down on the PvE part of RL, but I would just like to say that the Horde side of RL is also an option, if you like the same spirit. Rl PvE is turning into a guild that I would say I would feel more at home than the one I have made myself. However, I will continue to run the RL PvP guild as I have, and we do not focus as much on the main goal as Rl PvE does. So if you fancy the RL spirit, but do not fancy putting as much work into instances and so on, why don't you bounce over here?

I can't promise you that you will find something else than in RL PvE, because the two guilds are made by likeminded people, but If you don't like the DKP system, and some of the new things RL PvE has put down (I support these 100% mind you) then Rl PvP might be a place where you may find what you were looking for.

I can recomend to atleast do a char on bloodscalp (good fun to be ganked by a ?? 10 times) no but seriously it is damn fun to pvp sometimes. Have a char there but Silvermoon is still my main server.
