Looking for numbers

I've been hearing rumours and reading articles regarding MMO player numbers, and the vibe I'm getting seems to be that Lineage 2 has grown larger than WoW when factoring in the global population. However some sites claim that WoW is actually bigger, while others claim that some bizarre Korean games are even bigger still. Damn internet.

Anybody got a reliable source for MMO player numbers?

i dont think think there is any accurate source of info, especially when alot of the eastern data will be based on net cafe usage, it becomes about as valid as radio 1 listener figures.

http://www.mmodata.net/ is the continuing of the old mmogchart site that did its best to make some sense of the numbers.
