Space Hulk

Games Workshop recently released the third edition of Space Hulk, sadly they've only done a small print run and won't be doing any reprints, so its pretty much sold out everywhere. I managed to pick up a copy today for considerably less than the going rate on eBay :). Has anyone else got it?

Not really had a chance to look at it yet, but the minis appear to be very detailed and the game board sections are very nice.

What is it with GW only doing limited runs of all their best stuff? Is it just so they can call em 'collectables!' rather then wargame models?

It does look rather sweet, mind. I've got the old version stashed away somewhere...

My first GW game. Loved it, unfortunately I dont have any friends who share the interest enough for me to buy the new edition.

Well a couple of hours and few cut marks in my desk and fingers later and I've managed to remove some of the minis from the sprues and clean off the moulding. Forgot how fiddely minis can be...

Detail is incredible - much better than the plastic minis from my old GW days (15-20 years ago).

Played a couple of games now and getting used to rules and strategy. Title for mission 1: 'Suicide Mission' very apt, though I have managed to win as Space Marines. Will give mission 2 a go at the next session.

@Guy - Never played it, though I do recall reading an adventure featuring a vampire lair in an issue of White Dwarf probably 15-20 years ago :)

Got a nice box of the original Space Hulk sitting somewhere, didn't get a chance to order the new one, how does it pan out in comparison to the old rules?
