I have sky broadband. I had terrible problems when I first had it with it randomly disconnecting, and in the end they have to get BT to do something (not sure what exactly, something to do with the bandwidth being more than my line could handle so they downgraded it to a suitable level or something like that) to my line and since then I rarely have problems, unless the telephone exchange by my house goes down and then it's only usually an overnight thing.

But that was just my whole net not specifically to any particular game

I cant get cable in my area thats why im having so much trouble with the game,
Sky rent off BT wholesale and BT wholesale have war as a P2P program hence a crap load of data packaging.The only way round it it seems is to set up a VPN and im a bit clueless about that but i will probably give it a go.

I think my sky problem has been solved although ive had a few D/C tonight that may be the line stabilizing.For anybody else having a nightmare with sky you have to get your self on a fast track/fast pass line this line has very little data packaging
or prime time shaping.You wont be offered this without alot of blagging and dont even bother asking the first ppl who answer your call (the ones who ask if your sure you have all the wires connected to your router).
The fast track line costs sky a bit more so they really dont like putting us on them but if you explain how bad things are ie 10 min lag,D/C and sever sync probs then they should sort you out.
