What ram do you suggest i get, all i will be doing is playing games.
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Crucial_Value_Kits.html
whitch is better the top one is PC3200 but has a latency of 3 and the bottom one is PC2700 and has a latency of 2.5.
I'll only be playing games like Half-Life 2, Halo etc. not planetside. (i havent given up on PS i will be resubbing again around christmas or in the summer holidays.)

PC3200 is best value for money for gaming. The bigger the number, the better.
Corsair is generally the best RAM manufacturer, to see what you want, check out this helpful link: http://compatible.corsairmemory.com/Default.aspx

I dunno how much money i will have to get RAM i will prob be £60 at the most. I don't know if i will be able to get more RAM. The price may go down by the time i get the money.
Through all the things on Corsair i found this http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=302393&cks=SER but its £90 :/

That's the RAM I'm getting if my new gfx card dosn't fix my problems....Paul's ram that is, not that budget stuff.
Why not just get a single stick of that stuff paul? Should be 45 quid then... Or, if it's possible you get could get 512 + 256. Althugh I'm not sure that would work.

i think i might be able to stetch to that £90 ram.
in a few weeks ill be getting £200 EMA bonus (yay) so i will be buying my graphics card, then for my birthday (long away still just wanted to see roughly how much id need) i'll be getting mobo + cpu + case. so there is still chrimbo, so i may be able to get that then.
