This is completely pointless, i know, but I'd like to give my say in it...
The name Burning Steppes has always confused me. When doing /silly as a human, he pronounced it 'steps'... This lead me to belive that there were maybe a set of cool steps in the area like the ones into Mordor. When I got there finally, I didnt find any so I went onto dictionary.com and had a look at the definition of 'steppes'. To my surpise, it definded it as "A vast semiarid grass-covered plain, as found in southeast Europe, Siberia, and central North America."
To get an even better idea, i went and google imaged 'steppes'.. this is what I found:

Ofcouse, this is just of a steppe, so you have to burn it to get burning steppes. Still, if you do that, I realy dont see the similarities to WoW's Burning Steppes... I think that calling it burning steppes is wrong. I think it should be called Blackrock Vally or summin...
:D
