Getting an error as below

(the patch client was unable to retrieve the file{patcher.prod.sig} from the patch server please try the patch operation in a short time

ie the patcher is not starting up at all.

Lots of varied discussion on the boards but no single found fix to this as yet..

Anyone else have the same problem? or got any ideas?

only time i get it is , when either i still have a warpatch.bin running in the started tasks - when its fucked up once already, or if there is actually a problem with the goa patcher itself.

I had a similar problem. A simpre reboot sorted it.

my guess is like me, you are with o2 or be for your isp. They have a routing problem when connecting to french sites in general.

didn't help last night, but seems to work now.

Haven't tried the O2/BE dns servers again yet, but apparently the new servers they've rolled out are 94.x.x.x IPs which are blacklisted on some ISPs and Routers
