Now that Onyxia and Ragnaros are getting closer in the "To Hump" list, I was wondering if anyone is willing to help some renegades do Dire Maul runs. Why Dire Maul you may ask, well, because the loot there is almost designed for every healing class in the game, a lot of items that drop there have tons of healing/special features that I and most certainly a lot of you healers would want to have... im after Energetic Rod (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=35733) to use with a mana regenerating off-hand spell book.

So anyone up for some good Dire Maul fun, please reply

I'm always up for DM runs, I think it's one of the best instances in the game, and it's easy to split up in several runs due to it's modular nature. The items there are not just for healing classes, there is >> Awesome loot (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?f=i&zones=119&qm=3&iz=1&cols=nktsq) << for everybody, much of it of the same quality that can be found in the other raidable instances.

I'd especially like to do DM North, doesn't matter whether it's tribute runs or just killing the bosses, as I need 2 items that drop from the king: Leggings of Destruction and Barbarous Blade.

The other wings are fine too, though east gets a little trivial after a while (Lots of identical pulls)

I'm up for any DM instance when you want !
I have the mace you want Nyana, but I think the Inventor's Focal Sword (http://thottbot.com/?i=19595) might be a better choice, I'm still hesitating.

With illumination maxed, I'd definitely stick with the inventor's focal sword for healing. +1% chance of a free spell = w00tage.

Yup - depending on the internet in the weekend (i will hopefully get it back) i'm up for getting crown of the ogre king :) And the staff unless i get the quest for that off-hand tome ... (Somone help me.)

And then some of all the other +crit gear. There's even a drop and a quest inside DM for crit-gloves. Hmm, what were blizzard thinking?

Crown of the ogre king (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=35859)
Heliotrope cloak (http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=35683)

Bla bla bla ... There's so much cool gear in DM that it hurts.

Me, Mavi, Topar, Shini, Peete?

Mage, Druid, Warlock, Hunter, Paladin <-- That should do? Of course i don't know the "toughness" of the mobs in the instance, so i can't say if this is a good group or not.

If i'm not online don't bother waiting for me.

I want a lot of things from there, and also to see the place, ALL wings. So whenever I am not alreay busy with something else, I'd like to join.

In my opinion, based on doing multiple runs in each wing, Dire Maul east can be done at 56+, DM North is probably 59+, whereas West is 60 req. The Bosses in N and W go up to level 62.

DM West can be a pain, there are some nasty pulls of undead, and the groups with Arcane elementals that have a nasty AoE attack can wipe a party very fast if they decide to cast it several times in a row. The prince can be a very hard fight as well, as he is reluctant to stay on the MT (He intercepts randomly and sometimes uses an aggro-reducing Arcane knockback that deals up to 1000 arcane damage, tank him against a wall :) )
