saw it yesterday mate, not at half past midnight, i was busy sleeping, but it was much better than the first two "new" episodes. gotta love that first glipse when Anakin or "Darth" used the choke grip :D

Yeah it was pretty damn good....

My only gripes where that the Space Battle and Kasyykk scenes where a lil short...

I think there was too much cross-cutting between different locations, often in odd climactic moments. Lucas once again fell for the temptation to put in so many action sequences and effects that it removes focus from the essential part of the story: the change from Anakin to Darth Vader. As usual, the dialogue was contrived and unsubtle, leading to some clichées, especially sorrounding the central theme of emotional change.

Overall, the film is a great piece of entertainment and very breathtaking. I wasn't bored at anytime, but I felt the story-telling was lacking compared to the action-elements.

So basically it's a big, fancy bunch of special effects with loads of lightsabres AND an evil, dark twist to it all - where you don't have to pay attention to the plot cuz' it's kinda' bleh anyway?

Basicaly, bits where the original 3 would have focused on where short, packed to the full so there was at points to much to comprehend in one viewing.

A good film, but because of the said problems it felt a bit rushed, it eased up later on in the film where it took a focus on the few main characters fight, but not enough.

Poor acting on some parts, Grevious was tollerable, his nimodian technician aide's acting however was terrible. Mini-Jedi/Younglings acting was absolute dire, even Jake Lloyd was better.....

I enjoyed the film, i thought Dooku would of put up a better fight and the NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! moment was as cheesy as you can get, but generally good.

it tied everything up nicely, all that was missing was some boobs :( hehe i enjoyed it, but he did miss out on aweome chance to see wookies in action and the space battle missed a lot, just silly jedi's being rubbish. rest was awesome (i want a little crazy yoda all of my own- oh yeah and lightnig out of hands would be nice - so i could battle my little yoda :) )
