Xfire ("Crossfire"?) it works like a standard instant messenger with a difference -- it shows you what game your buddies are playing, and depending on the game also what server they are playing on, what TeamSpeak server they are on and allows you to quickly join the game. XFire Tips:

To Add friends just press the "Pluss (+)" icon on youre GUI and type in one of the names above. Press "Search". Now select the person that was found, to be sure hes RL select view profile first and read there if youre unsure, then press "Send". This will send a Inv message which he will get the next time he logs on Xfire. When he logs on the next time and answears "yes" to the popup box you will be albe to view him in youre GUI, join games he playes, join TS hes on and so on.
Youre welcome to send Inv to all on this list, thats what its for :).
If youre new to The Renegade Legion just remember to add in the text box of the "Send" message that you are a "RL".
IMPORTANT: If youre a Recruit and not a full RL member you:
1. Dont get added to this list.
2. Should not use this list to add Xfire contacts until you are a full RL member.
3. If you dont get accepted into RL it goes to logic that we, harsh but true, dont want you to use this list.
If youre "RL name/forum name" is taken when you register you can still change your Xfire (nickname) in
Tools > Options > Display > Names
If you dont like the blip sound when Xfire friends log on/off you can turn it off in
Tools > Options > Sounds > Uncheck "Play a sound when a friend logs on or off"
You can turn off "Friends of my Friends playing" in
Tools > Options > Display > Uncheck "Show me friends of my friends playing"
