Just a quick question concerning talents for Onyxia. Do all our warriors go the Protection route or is there a requirment for Arms/Fury spec? Would imagine this will apply to a few other classes, so some feed back would be appreciated ;)

im not sure how its works for the warriors but i think all the mages need to reset thier talents for arcane/ice for both onyxia and mc

Reading the official forums, it would seem that people are useing all three talents tree's for Onyxia/MC. However alot of peeps complaining about the amount off resists they get, so it looks like Frost or Arcane for mages, but no idea on the specifics m8.
As for warriors, well alot of the protection tree is useless for Onyxia/MC, Concussion blow, Improved Revenge and Shield Bash will be worthless as i understand that stuns/silence don't work on the bosses there.
Improved Sunder also will be a waste of talent points as rage is basicly on tap with the amount of damage you take.
Looks like a few gold coins will be spent trying out different talent setups, oh well another three respecs and i am at the 50g cap :rolleyes: so if anyone has information/advice on a solid build please post :)

Thats nice to hear, kinda getting addicted to Mortal Strike critting for 800-1200dmg :D

But does anyone know a good frost build?
I'm going to respec when i got on WoW again. Will be getting the talent for less mana cost for frost-spells, the chance to freeze with chill effects and better crit-chance. Though we might not be able to actually freeze the fuckers in MC, we can still chill them down to around 70% - maybe even 35% with imp. blizzard. And then the shields.

Arcane Talents (18 points)
• Improved Arcane Missiles - 5/5 points
Gives you a 100% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while channeling Arcane Missiles.
• Arcane Concentration - 5/5 points
Gives you a 10% chance of entering a Clearcasting state after any damage spell hits a target. The Clearcasting state reduces the mana cost of your next damage spell by 100%.
• Evocation - 1/1 point
While channeling this spell, your mana regeneration is active and increased by 1500%. Lasts 8 seconds.
• Improved Arcane Explosion - 5/5 points
Reduces the casting time of your Arcane Explosion by 1.5 seconds.
• Improved Counterspell - 2/2 points
Gives your Counterspell a 100% chance to silence the target for 4 seconds.
Frost Talents (33 points)
• Improved Frostbolt - 5/5 points
Reduces the casting time of your Frostbolt spell by 0.5 seconds.
• Ice Shards - 5/5 points
Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Frost spells by 100%.
• Improved Frost Nova - 2/2 points
Reduces the cooldown of your Frost Nova spell by 4 seconds.
• Cold Snap - 1/1 point
When activated, this spell finishes the cooldown on all of your cold spells.
• Piercing Ice - 1/3 point
Increases the damage done by your frost spells by 2%.
• Improved Blizzard - 1/3 point
Adds a chill effect to your Blizzard spell. This effect lowers the target's movement speed to 70% of normal. Lasts 1.50 seconds.
• Shatter - 5/5 points
Increases the critical strike chance of your frost spells against frozen targets by 50%.
• Frost Channeling - 3/3 points
Reduces the mana cost of your frost spells by 15%.
• Improved Cone of Cold - 3/3 points
Increases the damage dealt by your Cone of Cold spell by 35%.
• Ice Block - 1/1 point
You become encased in a block of ice, protecting you from all physical attacks and spells for 10 seconds, but during that time you cannot attack, move, or cast spells.
• Frostbite - 5/5 points
Gives your chill effects a 15% chance to freeze the target for 5 seconds.
• Ice Barrier - 1/1 point
Instantly shields you, absorbing 455 damage. Lasts 1 minute. While the shield holds, spells will not be interrupted.
Definetly(sp?) not flawless, but it's a start :)
