If you want to play competitively, you must sign up at CLANBASE (http://www.clanbase.com/). Once done, please post your ID number, here and we will add you to the roster. Please also, using User CP on Clanbase, put your 'STEAM ID' into the database. To find how to find your steam ID, look here (http://forums.renegade-legion.org/showthread.php?t=91)

Please also sign up to MIRC (http://www.mirc.com/) and log onto our channel when you are at your computer. If you need help setting up, look here (http://forums.renegade-legion.org/showthread.php?t=51).

Please do this ASAP. This is the current roster, the red names are those who HAVEN'T signed up to clanbase. If you want to play competitively, post here aswell.

I Was talking to my friend, who used to have a really good 1.6 clan, and he was telling me that we should start at EnemyDown since that ladder is generally easier. We can stay signed up at CB, but maybe we should do our first ladder on ED?

ED still havent authorised RL yet, thats the problem, I'm planning on emailing them in a few days because tbh its taken far to long. However, its only been a week, and I'm content to leave it a few more days because of that.

i'd email them like, now..EB is a much easier league, so we'd do better on that as a new clan.

EB is a shop, ED is a league, and afaik you're supposed to give them around a week before you start pestering them.

yeh that was me that recommended that you guys start off with ED first since its generally much easier and since you wont be getting owned every single match like you will in CB (no offence) you will learn quite a lot....CB has the most expierenced teams in Europe so its hell of a lot more difficult. clans who have been around for years have a hard time in that league so a new one with not too much expierence will find it quite hard...for ED to recognise you as a team you need to have a webpage i believe and at least 3 active members obviously you need 2 more to play matches...about the website i dont think this forum really counts as a website..they want a proper one with a proper Header etc. you all must have valid e-mail...btw if your looking for good webhosting id recommend #ecko@qnet...they should sponser you guys if not ill speak to the owner since ive known for around a year know....anyway good luck in the leagues you guys decide to participate and you can count on me for tactics :)

I agree about ED first, my own experience of ClanBase is less than pleasurable. As for webhosting, I'm quite happy with what I am paying for at the moment thanks :)

As for a website, that is dependant on my free time. However I think 2 forums with a combined total of over 35,000 posts should be sufficient to indicate that we are pretty serious :)

Not got a reply from the admin I emailed as that was mainly about the countrys (I.E. No option for all of europe)

i can make you a 'ok' looking website within 20 minutes.
tell what you need on it and ask dengar whether he can host it or not.
guess ur names and emails + a banner should be enough.

we have an irc channel and to post some screens and stuff on the site shouldnt be a problem either.

PS: give them a link to our old forum with ten thousands of posts and they will see that we are active and how we organize our stuff mainly

just have a really simple page...all there asking for really is a page that has "Renegade Legion" at the top...also it'll be a usefull way for you guys to post news about the clan, upload demos, have a memebers page etc. and on top of the you can links to these forums and/or planetside ones...you shouldnt see it as a chore webpages can actually be quite useful :)
