Thought maybe some of the more experienced players could give some small pointers of what to do and not to do?

I was wondering about he tradeskills if there is any "mandatory" professions like in WoW for each class?

what worked good for me ... after the Pirate City head to the Wastelands, have a peak at the guild city and then go questing in the Wastelands. some good easy quests with a good payout and i think we have a few guidlies in the early twenties now so a group would work too against the gankage.

CHeers!

The run through the Wildlands isnt hard.

As for tradeskills - No. Pick what you either think would be useful or make you money. There is no Engineering'esque Tradeskill that will make you uber at PvP or useful in PvE.

Tips - The greatest tip i can think of is taking advantage of your opponents weakness. Behind them.

There is no "Sheild" on the rear of a player. If you can strafe around them and keep plugging at it then chances are you can take on any class. If i can keep behind player, regardless of class, i can usually win.

Another tip - Report players who camp Spawnpoints with the /petition command. Regardless of what Volw keeps telling everyone, GM's ban players doing it for 3 Hours. The sad fact is that the Spawn Immunity isnt always enough - it sometimes expires before loading is finished.

And i know it works that way... i have a mate who got banned for it, the dozey twat.

... and Ludi is smarter than a GM.

I was told by a GM it's not considered as an offense any more. Your m8s word against GMs.

(Thats unless they've changed their policy recently)

Well he got banned on Friday morning... couldnt login for several hours. Ive read on the forums of several people getting banned too, all since the Spawn "Immunity" timer was added.

I just talked to him again, turns out he is on a Yankee RP-PVP server... maybe a different Spawn camping ruleset?

They do, pvp must be done in-character there.

So after spawning they have to have an in-character conversation for 5 minutes, if it's less than that - it's an offense ;)
