Been reading about AoC's "apprentice system" and seems like a damn nice feature considering the lot of you who didn't get into early access.

What it does is when you group up with someone below your level you have the option to make them an apprentice which'll boost the apprentice's level temporarily and artificially one level below the "master". Although they'll still only have access to spells, combos, abilities and kit of their real level the system increases the lowbie's health, mana, stamina and damage output to appropriate values of their new pumped level.

Not sure how xp gained during some master-peon action transfers to the real level with the apprentice system.

if it is like CoH you get xp equal to what your mentor is getting, meaning that you will be leveling faster than you would if you were playing with people same level. If so, enjoy being spammed for paid mentorships :D

Sound fucking great since I'm still pissed about the cockup Shitcom did with the EA.

I really hope me and Vad can recreate our LOTRO "Taylor, Son of Vadam" scenario.

In CoH you get XP equal to the CON rating not Level. So a person mentored from level 5 to level 50 would still get the same xp killing Level 50 Rikitis as they would level 5 Clockworks.

Forgive me if that makes little sense cuz i have just woke up, but ive just woke up and Daymare wasnt entirely correct :p

I hope that being Mentored gives some small xp boost, say 5%, so people eventually catch up.
