Second batch of 2500 keys was available for 6 minutes. Anyone seriously after one should have Comrade running and watch the fucker like a hawk. My guess so far is they are releasing them in 3K batches, 2 times a day, 6 hours apart.

my dl is going from 120-280kbps but im on 8mb so i should be getting 750kbps.

I always hate it when they have no dedicated EU servers for some files especially since we pay subscriptions as well.

ADSL/LAN is normally measured in Kbs and downloads measured in KBs.

The fileplanet Dl'er is in kB/s so 280KBs is about 2.2Mbs and 780KBs is closer to 6Mbs

I downloaded the client from one of the three UK servers on the first day of the beta.

There is even one still on the list.

There were two UK servers when I grabbed my copy. Maybe when those servers fill up they are removed from the view? There is of course no "fullness" indicator on the screen.

Then stop being a moaner and pick an East Coast server, chances are with the current piss poor state of the Broadband network in the UK you will prolly get a better speed.

http://www.3fl.net.au/ seem to have it and I'm having real issues with the queues to get on the fileplanet download. Getting an okish speed out of it too it seems so far even though they are based is australia...

Dear Age of Conan beta tester

We hope you are merrily chopping off Pict heads in the Age of Conan Open Beta, and that your journey in Hyboria has been a memorable one so far. You have only seen the beginning though, as we prepare an EPIC ending to your Open Beta experience.

On the 10th of May we are transforming the entire Open Beta into PvP MAYHEM, while at the same time giving you access to all which Hyboria as to offer! That is right, as we take down our servers for a short period we are at the same time changing the entire server rule-set to Free For All PvP carnage! Your servers will ALL become PvP! Participate if you dare, or make a new character and stay in the safety of Tortage!

Details:

All servers become PvP servers. You can kill each other – no level restrictions on killing or getting killed, but you cannot PvP in the major cities.
All level 13 characters becomes level 20. Their inventory is wiped, but they have “tons” of money and really nice equipment suitable for level 20’s. Shopping bonanza!
You have access to ALL zones and ALL levels after level 20!
You will be zoned to your Race’s Hub (Cimmerians – Conarch Village, Aquilonians – Old Tarantia and Stygians – Khemi)
This means bye bye Tortage! Welcome Hyboria at large, and what a blast you will have. It all starts at level 20, and then it’s up to you, but you can be sure your fellow players will do their best to stop you!

We will get back with detailed information on the exact time it starts on the official Open Beta forums at IGN, as well as on the Age of Conan forums and community site.

You may ask, why skip levels 14-20? The reason is simple – the story. We take it seriously, and we would like for you to experience it at launch.

We urge you to join us for some epic PvP mayhem on the 10th of May, and we hope you will leave Hyboria with a bloodied smile on your face.

downloaded, patched, all things look good apart from one small problem. It's not letting me login telling me my password or username is incorrect. Now I'm not so retarded that I accidentally bash my shift or caps keys in the middle and I checked that it was correct on the beta reg site which it appears to be. Basically I'm stumped, on the website my details work, on the game client they don't (although it let me update which also required the same username and password). Any thoughts?
