My PC sucks.....so I got a new one. 8)

Well, I got tired of my computer just dying on me during my PS gaming - and it ONLY happens when I'm using PS - so I decided I needed an Upgrade.

Bah....it was $250.00 more for the 6800...I figured I can wait another month and buy it for $150.00 somewhere and just install it myself. 8)

Yes Alienware are funny about there machines.

They are great PC's but the minus is that if they go wrong they have to fix it and that can take 3 weeks turn around.

I have always wanted an Alienware so I am mostly sulking today.

Total Cost : 1.8K with $500 dollar mail-in Rebate ---> 1.2K after is all done.

Also, I only got the 1 year warranty so I don't really care if they won't support me afterwards. I'm enough of a techy to be dangerous, so if it all comes to a bad end, I will just reformat and reload.

Decent upgrade matey but you'll still run it on low detail to keep the FPS up, I have a alienware pc Which is uber specs below on low detail i never drop below 80fps in fights,

AMD 4000+ @2.5ghz (standard 2.4)

IN the sanc u will ;)

And Matacheif running PlanetSide in low detail doesn't give u that big fps boost, so i prefer to be pretty and play with 30 fps than to be ugly and play with 35 :p
