MX518?

Ok read this first!:
Only comments about the Mx518 :D We have other threads about other mouses.

Has anyone gotten this, not as in plan to, and dose it work like intended. Ergo does youre max armor turn faster etc. Or isnt it even close to be "good enought" for the jobb?

Personaly am planing on getting this, but all the places I have seen it I cant test it, so I thought I would ask here. :)

I bought my sweety 3 days ago, i thought it was a production fault because of all the dents in it, but thats just the design and color paint :) Dunno how it works in PlanetSide, only gave it a test in WoW and FarCry sofar and im wubbing it :D

Yeah, but is the speed switch any good? Is it like it "sayes on the box"? :)

you have 5 configurable settings ranging from 1600 dpi (ultra fast movement) to 400dpi (slow as fook) and you can switch instantly with it

Thx, yeah well just wantied it confirmed from someone since I havent seen the mouse... anyho thx for info.I got that mouse today, must say I'm not over impressed, its so similiar to the mx510, it has 2 less buttons that can be programmed (I was using all 8 on the 510) because they are assigned to the sensitivity setting.

As for max suit turning, I tried it, slight improvement, but still not able to accurately steer one on autorun in a base.

Lastly its like every other mouse I've had, too small :(

The point was to put the mouse on 400 and sett the ingame sensetivety to what you like. Then when you changed to a max armor you could sett the mouse to 1600 and have infantry turningspeed in a max. Ergo be able to faster turn in a max...which ofC would be an advantage.

For a sniper gun you might want less movement so your aim is correct, for ak-74 weapons you might want 1600dpi and go wild... see the point? :)
