Priest was afk :)

Last night in front of General Drakki (ubrs) we stopped a bit to be able to have a soulstone on the only priest in raid named Bandend (?).
Soon SS was on priest, tank & kill order was clearly stated battle started.
But priest was afk without any notice :) of course the tanks died within few seconds, then paladins and druids realized what was going on and started healing.
Of course a Wipe followed but <OK we have one more try after rezzes>.... but:
<<She HS!>> the priest has SS rezzed and used her stone :)
After a lot of bullshit bout her computer troubles etc people released and raid was ended.It was 3AM my local time.
I still cant figure out what happened and she HS'ed. Panicked?
I can accept the mistake been AFK without notice or even losing concentration but people Leaving raid or party in the middle of instance no.
Conclusion : lvl your Holy Priests there arent many and guild needs some more
Conclusion Nr2 : dont SS someone you dont know when a guildie can rezz:)
Conclusion Nr3 : Stopping for few minutes @3AM in the morning makes people afk or sleep! (tbh if she was sleeping i can accept all but bull)

I heard about it and I was shocked. If I ever see that priest in my group I'm going to tell it to the group and either kick him/her or leave group myself. Nothing worse that fighting like forever and then something like this happens. Uhhh that would really put me into the red zone. Stupid priest.

Banend is the name. I mean, the wipes at the end boss can happen and is nothing too rare, though we yesterday had enough muscle to get him down. We were out of mages, but we had 6 healers in total (priest, 2 druids and 3 paladins), basically enough to get Drakki down. When we engaged that group, the adds were going down nicely, Reno and Ares kept Drakki nicely busy, Tilith was tanking the left guard and I pulled the right guard away from Drakki to avoid his AoE's and attacks (I pulled because the guard got angry with me for some reason, maybe the 3 critical hits in a row - each for over 1k - plus SoC crits - each around 1k - was the cause :D ).

And suddenly we notice that the main tanks on Drakki are NOT getting any heals. Before we engaged, Reno asked if all are ready and all said yes, including the priest, and now she/he is suddely (she/he, heck knows, char is female) AFK. I tried to start healing but the guard I was on send me a message "No you wont!" and smacked me on my noggin and knocked me off my feet, by the time I got up and started to heal again and it was about to land, Reno went down. Everyone else who could heal tried to heal too but it was too late, because other healers were healing already the rest of the raid and had to deal with main tanks now too. Ares went down and then our druids got aggro from the heals they did on main tanks and went down to Drakki. And priest was just standing there..

We still got one guard down and another shortly after that, but all were too wounded from the Drakki and druids were dead, priest still just watching.. Drakki didn't take my crits against him kindly and I was already out on mana (total 0% and had used potions as well, so these were also on timer) from the heals I had thrown around and on myself, so I went down shortly after that. Sylvana tanked Drakki for a while, then Tilith and in the end, it was just a rogue, hunter and warlock dancing with him :) Oh and priest, who was back by that time as she/he threw couple, only couple, heals on some who were still left standing. But we figured that it's OK, we still have a SS'ed priest with us, she/he will go down, no biggie, she/he pops up and resses us and we kick Drakki's butt for good then. And priest wont be AFK.

Or so we thought, because she/he popped up and HS'ed out. And then said that it was her/his PC what did it, and other such nonsense. Anyways, was too late for me already to start heading up there again, as was probably to the most, so we just left. Another run with better priests will be better.

Sadly it was getting way to late for us to be able to join, but next time you are going, we will love to come. We where just way way to tired last night (we had spring cleaned our entire apartment, and rearanged the living room)

Its a damn lame excuse to say you pushed wrong button. HS is not instant cast and if you are looking at your screen you have plenty of time to cancel(8 or 10 sec). So damn lame

Yes, but it's also a real life time of other 14 people in the raid, who worked together and were counting on that person. So yeah, it sure is game, but people involved are real and time spent is also real.

Was in a team once,where i didn´t roll! But still got the item!!
But the luck was it was not BoP!so before everyone whined i gave the item away to the one who needed it!

Yeahh i can see a little problem,cause you farmed X-item for some time!
But again its part of the game...

My point in the Future would be...Never team up with other than Guild´ies if you farm for any items!!!!!

I dont think you have really understood what happened. She/he didnt loot some non Devout robe that someone else needed. After we got wiped at Drakki she ressed with ss and HSed out of there. Yep it is a game but it steal time from your real life. And i dont think you will say "its only a game" if someone would destroy a run that have taken some hours to prepare and execute by either HSing or stealing your item.

It IS only a game -in 2 weeks we will remember and laugh- and there will always be possibility of wasting your time when you group with random people.
Personally i believe she/he was sleeping :)
