Now I know I've only been a member for a short while now, but I'm pretty sure that people on trial should really be coming on TS more often? There's a few guys around at the moment, Pharadox and Salith are good examples, who seem like great guys when I chat to them in text on the server, but I never feel I really know them because they're not on TS... A microphone isn't that expensive- about 15 quid- and it's worth every penny. Does anyone else have any views on this?

being on TS is a pre-requisite for being in RL (you dont have to be on it 100% of the time ofc), thats the way it has been since planetside days , whether people have a mic or not is another matter, as long as they are able to listen, thats fine.

As far as the trialists are concerned im guessing its not been handled in the best way possible, there not a great deal of activity in TF2 recently - with alot of peoples commitments.

Teamplay is a vital part of Renegade Legion and we do use comms "TS2" to chat to one another

Ive spent quite a lot of time chasing up recruits on there lack of mics like genya, headhunter, pharadox, near elite etc, in some cases people cant use mics but i think 99% of the time its a must

I thought i'd made it pretty abundantly clear that to get into renegade legion your presence on teamspeak is required and i prefer it to be with a mic.

Having said that i haven't been around that much lately on the server, running 2 jobs and a social life/gf doesn't leave much free time but im still here on the forums / msn / ts, don't be afraid to ask me about things or if you think something is amiss tell me about it and i'll see what i can do.

I amz all alonez most of the time on TS, with Slann, Kills and Pariah most often. Phara is too shy *teehee*.

As I think I've mentioned before, I can't use the mic all that often due to a wife who has odd sleeping patterns (she'll be going to the hospital for things which should help in the next month or two), and I don't want to wake her while I'm yelling obscenities at Genya for sluggin my face all over Dustbowl with the scout bat again :p

And yeah lol, it's been quiet recently. Just me and Genya for most of the time I've been on in the last week or so... It's still fun though ^^ Arrrggghh

Also my SC is so terrible that 80% of time it ruins my mic + i can't even record sound when using fraps... gotta get sometin good...

I think its not the cause of my Headset , more like my Sound Card... even when playing TF2 the sound *lags*. Recording sound with this SC is impossible. :p

There's a possability ill get a new computer in some months so i dunno is it worth buying. :p
