The story:
Me and 14 others went for UBRS this evening and we made it to drakkisath without any problems (at least not worth mentioning). Drakkisath drops Dreadmist robes among 4 other items.

The problem:
Ok, this is kinda where the emotional issue comes in. Knowing that Topar only needed dreadmist robes (and had been to every avaliable UBRS raid) i of course passed, but it came out as a roll! Bad luck now also would it that i rolled higher than Topar and therefore won the robe. I got the "NIMU!!!!" replies and was like "wah?" untill i re-read the chat-log; "Nimu won [Dreadmist robe]".

I'm broke now. Feeling like a gimp. I'm sorry. But all this can't matter, because when you put your feelings into a game(You do that when the only reply you get is "I'm sorry. No excuses" and then a log-off 30 sec later), it also lifts it up beyond the meanings of "text".

And i do feel sorry for Topar, because i know that he has been to UBRS many times without a single dreadmist robe drop. A little wrong actually as i shouldn't care because afterall it's not my fault. However i am, still, getting blamed for it - at least i feel like it.

It all goes down to "I'm sorry". I maybe shouldn't say it, but i utterly feel like i did something wrong by purpose.

Goodnight gades - lighten my heart.

*EDIT* Typing.

It sounds like one of 'those' fuck-ups, not down to ignorance or malicious intent on your behalf Nimu, but that just makes it worse for Topar, all that anger and no guilty outlet to vent on.

But you shouldn't blame yourself, I don't think anyone who's heard the full story would think you ninja'd it on purpose.

I take it you have contacted a GM about this? It may be possible that they can intervene and pass the item along to him, but I doubt they would do anything...

I have seen people crying they have rolled when game states they have passed.
Game isnt bugfree and never will be any such game.

Dont get angry or feel any guilt, keep raiding robes will drop again.

Isn't it a BoP item? And still you could roll. Now that's what I call a big bug. But hey lets do some more runs then. I'm up for it. :D

Yes, GMs have been contacted.

I will look into it when i get online in 5 min.

Well, we still have quite a lot in the guild missing the chestpiece, so i guess we do have something to do in our summer-holidays? (Looking forward to it.)

If people have been following official WoW forums, then they would see that this is actually not such a rare thing at all. Just on that very same day I had read few pages long thread, where one person (some hunter or rogue) also posted that she passed on some caster item from Drakkisath, but came out as a winner, actually. And that thread had many replies from people, who have been in similar situation. In those cases, people did NOT get the "Looting this item will bind it to you" message, they just clicked the "Pass" button and a roll was automatically made. It doesn't happen very often, but as per those reports, it does happen. In any case, GM should be contacted and issue discussed.
