Alright, so its training tonight. This is how it will work. (For no reason whatsoever, i might suddenly disconnet, so i want one of my VCs to step in and continue the plan.

somone might want to have this ready incase we need it for a guide.

_________________________________________

1. explain the two squads idea and make sure eveyone knows what squad they should be in

2. load de_dust

3. make sure eveyone is familiar with this map, the routes and the objectives (know where both bombsites are and all routes around map). Also give names to each zone.

4. discuss general tactic as CT. Either hold off the force completely, or flank them from behind.

5. knowing which way to go, looking for friendlies (evenly disperssed team)

6. defensive tactics (bombsite covering, lone sniper)

7. general squad movements and commands.

8. discuss general tactic as T. Rush, flank, lone sniper and good routes to bombsites. Also make sure that people know how to evenly disperse their team.

________________________________

depending on time, move on to de_dust2, then prodigy. Follow same plan for each.

**NOTE**
1. this is the first training session, so it might not be too smooth. As long as eveyone listens, it should be fine.

2. my computer lags really baddly on de_dust2, so i will try my best to continue leading. If I cannot, ill pass it down to one of my VCs.

3. again, my computer might suddenly disconnect, so, in that case, one of my VCs will take over until I get back.

_____________

Finally - I will type up all of this again plus the stuff we discuss duing the session and post it here. I will also get a map.

So. See you there around 8 (hopefully a bit earlier) and lets have a good one.

i think it went well. for me anyway. i think some ppl couldnt take it all in or got bored and stopped listening. but if we expect to win matches we DO need to do this. i think we need to go over another map (cobble?) on friday and then start doing in-detail sessions.
in these we would select a fight, for instance attacking/defending bombsite B on dust. we do it over and over maybe 5 times and then switch sides. it wont be very realistic because it will be full teams and such but it gives u an idea. ull know where to look and what ur teammates will be doing and is good practice for coordinating multiple attacks, flanknig mvoes and simultaneous or consecutive grenade attacks etc.
if we do this for some of the main fight area like the bridge on piranesi, all bombsites, the open courtyard on couple and so on.
then we cna combine these well rehearsed tactics into bigger strategies.

a lot of ppl r sceptical of how useful all this will be. trust me, its a good thing. i know u cant make a plan and stick to it but its a mix and match thing. if we know how to assault bombsit B with 5 men vs another 5 then we can do it 3 vs 3 just aswell and give 2 vs 3 a good stab and so on. we might ont be able to plan in advance, players A B and C go left while player D flashes right but after a lot of practice u will do it automaticly if u find yourself in a situation that suits it.

this overview took about as long as we can pay attention but we did have a lto of general stuff thrown in that applies to all maps so it should be quicker on friday. i expect we can do an overview of cobble and an in-detail practice on an area in that one night before we play some matches.
its then just a case of woking through all the defusal maps and doing in detail practices on all the important bits.

well, thats my opinion anyway.

I wudda been there but i have a stinking headache......

Some of ya shud record time demos so you can look back afterwards and examine your own performance and see where you can change your tactics.

I have done it and its improved certain aspects of my game....

pretty much all of what vasquez said sums it up.

we did go through a lot of basic stuff, so now we are all on the same level. The other 3 maps that we should practice are de_cbble, de_dust2 and de_prodigy since those are used quite a lot. Now we can just have one guy (may not be able to make it there on friday) go through each teams options quickly and then we can have a good fight.

this evening, after giving the rundown, we had a little go using some tactics. My team (CTs) worked very well. We alerted eachother on nmes whereabouts and we helped eachother out. This teamplay really helps in a game like this.

depending on the numbers tonight, we might have just a general RL v RL fight on specific maps.

Training the other day just went over general tactics + de_dust tactics.

ill explain them later to you

:S i'm out tonight

GA how about tryin to get a bit of consistancy with who we play with ect, i know it might be a bit unfair at times and when one side is gettin pwned and not winning a match is a bit of a kick in the bollocks but think we need to start thinkin about who works well with who?

Sun nxt time that i can play CS for any length of time, how about a practise then? (if there isnt already) cos most ppl are online on a Sun
