This thread is for ideas for upcoming guild events. New ideas, feedback on existing ones (such as wether it sounds like it'll actually be fun to do or not) much appreciated.

Brill Round 2 - take and hold!

The last trip was ... not so fortunate. Let's show those horde bastards that we can do better! =)

Balanced 5-man groups. Preferably everyone on teamspeak - but as an absolute minimum, all group leaders on teamspeak.

We're going to move into Brill, and clean it out. After that, teams are assigned to defend different entrances of town, while others are on guard cleanup duty. Stealthed scouts out in the terrain to warn about incoming enemies, and maybe even a squad of stealthed people out there somewhere, ready to attack from behind as the horde engage our troops at the village. Heck, if we have enough, we could have a bunch waiting on mounts behind a hill or in the woods not too far away - the cavalry ready to charge in.

This event does rely a lot on the horde actually showing up to take their town back - which definitely will take a little while from when we first attack, so some patience is required =)

Pinkie Hillsbrad Invasion

How many level 1~6, pink haired, female gnomes does it take to kill a level 60 horde rogue? or any other class for that matter?
Let's find out!

Event starts out in Coldridge Valley where we all meet up with our pinkie chars (which may have been levelled to 6 prior to the event, but don't have to). A single group of highbies then escort the pink zerg all the way up through Dun Morough, Loch Modan, Wetlands and Arathi Highlands (picking up griffon points on the way) into Hillsbrad Foothills.
There, we head for Tarren Mill. A specific target is called out on teamspeak and marked up via MT on ct_raidassist ... time for carnage. Wether we succeed in killing anything or not, it'll be a laugh - to us and the horde =)

Possible problem obviously being that TM/SS could be too quiet or allience controlled at the time.

Fishing Trip!

Simply as the title says. Notify people a week or more ahead, and set a minimum skill requirement (so we don't have to start out at Brewnall Village in Dun Morough).

Start out at say Loch Modan, later move on up to Menethil etc. At each location, the person that can catch the biggest XX pound fish within a certain amount of time, gets a prize.

Maybe ask everyone to send their [nightcrawlers] to our engineers for a while before the event, so we can have a load of +100 fishing skill thingies to share out.

Not the most action-packed thing I've come up with, but wth :P

Randomly form up groups, so there's an even spread of levels.
Meet up at Deadmines entrance, set a few people at the exit.

First group to make it all the way through wins.
Move on to Gnomeregan, where the groups enter at main portal, and winner is first team out of the backdoor portal.
Etc. Should get more entertaining the tougher the dungeons get - how fast can you move through without pulling too much and getting yourselves wiped? =)

PvP tournaments

Can be done in a lot of ways - anyone against anyone, level specific, class specific etc.

1 on 1 duels obviously one way to do it.

Could go to Gurubashi and form up 5-man teams. One team stands at one end of the arena, the other team at the other end. Fight starts, and one person from each team comes into the middle to fight.
Once one person dies, another from his team takes his place. When one team is elimintated, the other has won.

Just a fun little chaos fight. All into the arena. Countdown. Free for all, last man standing is the winner (probably the stealthed 60 rogue afk in the corner).

Ever wondered what's behind the elite dragonkin up north in the Hinterlands? or the elite trolls northeast in Stranglethorn Vale? or behind the huge dragons at Caverns of Time in Tanaris? do the giants down at Uldum drop anything? is it true that the king of Stormwind is on Alcaz island northeast of Duskwallow Marsh? what's in Tyr's Hand in Eastern Plaguelands anyway? etc.

Let's gather a raid, go around the world (maybe a section at a time, so to speak) and find out!

Obvious problem: some on mounts, some not.

Still working on my PvP tourney.... we have a lot of 60's now so its gonna be easier.

About the PvP arena. BAD idea.... You deff will get some pussy gaiboi come and spiol it for everyone.... Shame it isnt an instanced area.

Behind the dragons are a closed portal like the one in duskwood and ashenvale ;)

The elite trolls in STV holds a not yet open instance ;)

Caverns of time is a closed instance.

Uldum giants dosent drop anything fancy ^^

I wanna go to alcaz isle !! level 59 elite hydras are bound to hang on to something funny =)

Everyone on TS, loaded with something to drink, the ability to travle, and a good sence of humor.

Mix it all and do a Renegade-Legion world pub tour, starting in stormwind at the Inn the guild plays a few dice games, tells some bad jokes and have a few toasts. Then move on to goldshire Inn and do the same and on wards to every alliance Inn in wow. Once all have been visited, and people have had a few drinks ... or more ... the guild hits a horde town, or a hive in silithus.

The ideer is stolen from back when I played DAoC, an RP guild did these sort of pub raids where people got drunk over voice and kicked mob ass after wards.

Here's something people did in my old guild in Star Wars Galaxies.

A couple of people leave the guild and form a new one. These people choose to be at war with RL. RL has to hunt them down and kill them :)

Points (or something) could be awarded to whoever kills the people the most, whatever. But the few people in the other guild get points (or something, again) for going up to members of RL and doing things like /fart, or /flirt... you know, something funny, and running away before they get attacked :p

Make a lvl 1 char in darnassus... give it 1 silver... start in auberdine then fly to darnassus.
Learn herbalist... gather 1 peacebloom and 1 silverleaf... show to one of the raceleaders in auberdine... then run to ashenvale...
All that with a lvl one with no clothes or weapons on. :D

Got the idea from my bros guild on burning legion server...
The winner got 7g and a Wow action figure ... the second 5g the third 3g.
Ofcource we can give ot her prices.

I would like a big wedding in Sw cathedral, it will involve some hard work from the tailorings in guild too make all the required tuxedos and stuff. All other members must farm cloth for the tailors. I already made my own wedding dress.

We need a priest in traditional outfit probably with the pope hat from SM on, and a big party when leaving the chruch with people standing next tot the stairs and doing fireworks. After that we go and get drunk at the local pub

We also need written lines for the priest en all players who will say a thing or two at the wedding.

And maybe we can get an anouncement on the europian wow page and maybe even in the info box popup before loggin in

well - me n korp had talked about this - he got his tux, i got my wedding dress - was just waiting for him to formally ask guild boss for permission to marry me ... then he kinda had to go bk to sweden.....funny that :rolleyes: .... was gonna 'marry' in July - when I get to sweden and before my irl birthday..... but... hmmm..... kinda went without popping th question :mad: so I guess that's on hold.........still, we did 'christen' the altar in sw cathedral before th guild meeting :p
