Tried it, its about average id say...

The Roman-Greek setting is quite a nice change but there is something about the game i cant quite put my finger on that doesnt quite draw me in.

The NPC names that float above their heads need tweaking, making smaller and a little more defined as it just breaks the immersion badly.

Combat is average and the god powers whilst a good idea just dont make it a deal clincher.

Graphics are ok, just ok. I like the skill tree system alot, i think it makes the game that little bit more diverse.

All in all tho i prolly would not buy it.

Got to "play" this game during the weekend. Must say i like it, the graphics are good and the feat tree is cool. It probably wont hold up to AoC but i dont have beta access to that game so...

I can probably get more ppl into the beta if anyone is interested in testing (keep in mind that this is closed beta so the game is still buggy) send me a pm with your email address and i will see what i can do. Wont be any keys ready before late wednesday/early thursday tho.

I like some of the ideas this game has, particularly the 'pet' system of having multiple henchmen under your control. One of my favourite classes was DAoC's Bonedancer, where you could have up to four various skeletons as pets, replacing the need for a group in many circumstances. Ah, the good old days of being able to solo 3 OJs ;)

i managed to sneak in and have a quick look around, nothing really inspiring , although the ui looked somewhat better than majority of crap mmos i've looked at recently, really i think its either age of conan or warhammer online that will earn a subscription fee from me, luckily theres a shit load of potentially decent games coming out till then.
